Cleaning up the Mob

The 28 hours were not over yet, but the system was aware of their total population. It could therefore calculate whether it was impossible for the enemies to win by virtue of their remaining population. 

The citizens who died here were already deducted from the 'total population' of Resso Village. That said, because the ones on this side of the array were now less than half of their total population, then there must be a few thousand 'slaves' on the other side of the array.

She wondered if it was worth it to get them in the first place. 

First of all, her orders could not work unless she—or any of the residents—was there, so she would have to send a few people to the enemy Village to pick up the new slaves. Considering there would still be thousands of freemen on the other side, then sending her people there could get them attacked instead.
