Chapter One

Wind.

That's what Dabi could hear as he sat upon a rooftop, blue eyes closed, and head tilted upwards.

He sighed as a fresh gust blew over him and ruffled his long black coat. He would go up on roofs often, simply because of

the calming breeze. No one would annoy him up here.

Unless.

"Dabi! Dabi! Dabi! Where are you!!??" He groaned. Toga.

"There you are!" Toga ran over to him.

"What do you want, crazy." He sighed, rubbing his forehead.

"Guess what! Apparently Hawks is dating Mirko!" She said. "I felt you should know cuz he's your ex and stuff."

Dabi blinked. Oh. Well, it was probably just the press exaggerating. "Nah I'd say its just a rumor, Himi."

"Maybeee but aren't you mad?" She said, flopping down beside him.

"No. We broke up 2 months ago. He can move on if he wants, I don't care." Dabi grunted.

"Aww~ I was hoping you'd do some yandere thing and kill Mirko! She'd look so pretty covered in blood!" Toga giggled, kicking her legs like a child.

"You really are crazy." Dabi sighed, shoving her aside gently. "I'm going to my room."

"Aww you're no fun. Boringgg~" She said, lying down and staring at the sky.

Dabi walked away, his hands in his baggy pockets. He stomped down the old stairs back into the building, and made his way across the mahogany flooring to his room.

Despite the decrepit looks of the outside of the building, the base was quite clean and tidy on the inside. It smelled like flowers, due to the amount of them Toga would steal from other peoples houses and flower shops. It made the house smell better and made her happy, so no one complained.

He opened the door, walking into his room and closing the door behind him.

The walls were grey, and he had a bed, a wardrobe and a fluffy carpet on the floor. There was also a lamp in the corner. He had one window, which had the curtains pulled shut. He had his own bathroom because the league had complained over the fact that he kept staining the bathroom with hair dye.

Dabi groaned as he flopped on his bed, the black bedsheets soft to the touch.

"I'm still in love with that damn bird, aren't I?" He said at the ceiling.

They had broken up two months ago, saying that the whole hero and villain thing was too complicated and wasn't working out between them.

Dabi took out his phone and looked up the article. True to what he expected, it was the press taking pictures, catching people unawares.

The picture was of Mirko kissing Hawks' cheek.

Dabi knew Hawks had that type of comfy friendship with Mirko, he knew they were just good friends.

But he couldn't help feel a pang of jealousy in his stomach.

He turned off the phone and placed it on the bed beside him.

"This is going to become a problem, isn't it?"
