Dante positioned his head near the doorknob with the necktie and started looping one end around his neck.

"I got no more reason to live if you're not in it." He sobbed.

Pretending he didn't hear her, he continued tying it tightly. Before Evangeline knew it, he rushed beside him and tried to get the tie off him, but his hands stopped her.

"What the hell are you doing?" Dante shouted, weeping. "You want me gone, right?!"

"I'm doing you a favor, Evangeline!" He continued shouting and crying at the same time. His face was dripping wet with snot and tears.
