Happy Hornets (2)

The In-Between transformed into a branch of Happy Hornets in Andromeda Mall, conveniently located just a few stores away from Juan's Cheesecake.

"Why didn't we just walk to get there?" I frowned.

Death shrugged.

"I'm lazy."

Happy Hornets was like any family fast-food chain: its interior design mainly catered to children's eyes. The seating area was of the color palette of yellow and red, the colors which were said to be stimulating the appetite. The walls of the chain were decorated with illustrations of happy hornets buzzing around the cartoon versions of their menu.

While their menu, per se, wasn't necessarily good or bad, it was just typical food in a fast food chain, consisting of fries, burgers, ice creams, and the like. It was a hit or miss, to be honest. But the lackluster quality of the food is greatly defeated by the childhood memories it brought to everyone who dined there.
