Getting serious

"Flow Reversal," Dawn lightly muttered, just as the words escaped his mouth. All the zombies under Dawn's vision exploded in a shower of blood and smoke.

After all, it was to be expected, if suddenly the mana inside Dawn's veins started to flow in reverse direction his fate wouldn't been any different.

Pop! Pop!

Like flowers blooming in spring, Zombies continued to explode after some time the explosion stopped.

Dawn finally opened his eyes to take a look at his surroundings, his face was pale as paper as if someone had drained all the mana inside his body.

The simple action of opening his eyes made him feel as if he was moving a mountain.

The howling wind and roars of zombies were nowhere to be heard, the only sound that remained was of the dripping blood that gathered together to form a small pond.

The barbarian kings were also confused, they looked at their empty surroundings with blank gaze.

The whole ruined city was in complete silence.

Dawn felt like he would just fall on the ground if he tried to move, he just say down on the place where he was standing to rest.

Sugar inside the jewel of Emptiness was looking at this scene with a look of astonishment in her eyes.

'Just How in the world.." She repeated those words again and again. She couldn't comprehend the sight before her eyes no matter how many times she looked at it.

Her reaction was priceless, anyone would have the same reaction if they heard of Dawn's feat, reversing the flow of mana was just impossible.

It shouldn't happen, but no matter what they thought the sight before them was real.

Sugar wasn't just any being, she had forgotten how old she was. This was her first time seeing the flow of mana being reversed inside a creature's body.

After some time she just closed her mouth and decided to stop thinking about it.

Dawn dismissed the Barbarian kings and looked at the shimmering runes in his sea of consciousness.

[Trial 4 - kill 200,869/1,000,000 monsters.]

His task was twenty per cent completed, but where was he going to find more monsters like this?

A small sigh escaped his mouth unconsciously.

Meanwhile, Dark Abyss was filled with anticipation as he was finally reaching toward the completion of his goal, the planet was going to be completely under the influence of Abyss aura and he was finally going to reap the reward of his hard work.

In some days Dark Abyss would be able to absorb the core of the planet and directly become a stage 6 cultivator.

Suddenly, the tens of eyes on his body flashed with a cold light, he turned his head in the direction of where Dawn was fighting earlier.

"Wait for some time," Dark Abyss was going to massacre all the cultivators once he's finished with his task.

With these thoughts, Dark Abyss closed his eyes and waited.

"This is your base camp," Cyrus commented as he looked at the sight in front of him.

Tens of thatched huts, SUVs and minivans were arranged nearly in a circular fashion and in the middle of it was a training ground where youth of various ages seemed to spar.

"That's right," Nicholas nodded. They constantly were on the lookout and Zombies didn't give them the opportunity to settle down in one place.

"Daddy!" A loud childish voice came from the ground and a girl barely 6-7 years old came rushing toward Nicholas.

A small smile unconsciously appeared on Nicholas's serious face when he heard the voice.

His daughter was surprisingly adapting well to the chaos all around them.

Children below 18 years of age were the worst affected by this so-called apocalypse.

They could awaken and fight the monsters, they were nothing but a burden at this stage.

Nicholas hugged his daughter and caresed her head with a loving smile on his face.

His heart hurt every time he had to leave her alone and venture or for food and supplies.

Cyrus looked at this scene from the sidelines and didn't comment. He started walking casually toward the training ground at the center.

His eyes scanned each individual with a mysterious look in his eyes.

From what he knew the Trailblazers were ridiculously good at cultivation and almost most of them awakened their talent when they turned 18.

He was hoping to find some good talent and recruit them.

It was almost natural as all the powers do this, they generally recruit from the planet which had newly awakened its mana.

Time passed like a flowing wind. It's been five days since the beginning of Dawn's heavenly tribulations.

Black Abyss was starting to feel anxious, as things weren't going according to the script.

The influence of Abyss was decreasing in place of increasing.

"These insects," Black Abyss furiously thought, he had to personally take action otherwise he could forget about achieving his goal.

In these past days, the rate at which the Abyss influence was decreasing had sharply increased.

Black Abyss' huge body started to move in the direction of a cultivator with Black hair and equally black eyes.

Thousands of Zombies followed Black Abyss like loyal minions among them there were a couple of Zombies at the Channel Construction Realm.

Dawn was unaware of these developments, he continued to do what he was doing. Given how he did things even if he knew about it he wouldn't have cared.

Dawn was sitting on top of a bus looking at his monsters massacring mutant animals and zombies. He was progressing rapidly, right now the process was almost thirty per cent complete. He just needed to kill 700,000 more monsters and he would be able to break through.

Suddenly the zombies around him suddenly exploded, Dawn had fallen in love with his new skill. He just couldn't help the skill was super efficient at taking care of large numbers of Zombies.

He just wanted to cover the whole planet with his skill and explode all zombies at the same time and be done with it.
