It has been a couple of days since Dawn took care of Robert and took over his tribe.
That fellow Meadow turned out to be an able administrator in these 2-3 days he managed the tribe perfectly fine.
There wasn't chaos about the sudden change of the leadership and Meadow was somehow able to cook up a nice story about the disappearance of Robert.
Most of the people that were living here had decided to settle down because of the assurance that they were under the protection of a cultivator in the Channel Construction Realm.
Keeping that in mind, Meadow also introduced the barbarian king as the Guardian of the tribe. Specifically mentioning his cultivation in the Channel Construction Realm.
The people quickly forgot about Robert as if he hadn't existed in the first place.
"Remove all the unnecessary elements. This road should last for generations to come."
Harmon shouted at the workers, who were trying to cut corners with a stern expression on his face.
The sound of metal striking against the earth and an axe striking the tree trunk resounded in the surroundings.
Dawn looked at the workers working below with an approving look in his eyes.
"We would need 500 additional mana stones to purchase materials."
Zampa who was standing by Dawn said in a strange voice. He didn't understand what was the need to construct a huge road connecting both tribes.
To Zampa it was just wasteful expenditure, the resources could have been better utilized.
"You won't understand, even if I explain it to you."
Dawn could only say this with a small smile on his lips. He could understand what Zampa was feeling but he could do nothing about it.
Explaining the benefits of this road to him was the same as explaining the internet to his parents.
A pouch suddenly appeared in Dawn's hand, he threw the pouch toward the Zampa.
"Here's your additional 500 mana stones."
Zampa hurriedly grabbed the pouch with care and bowed before taking his leave.
Dawn didn't care about the mana stones for a short period of time but he will definitely in the future. The twenty thousand mana stones that he got from the Robert storage ring were disappearing at an insane speed.
And why wouldn't they disappear after all he was constructing a freaking road. Who told him to do the work of the government but on second thought Dawn was the government.
Dawn had decided to construct the road to promote trade among the three tribes under his control.
More trade means more money and power for him.
Even the merchants were happy about Dawn's decision as they readily supplied him with the material.
But none of them gave him a discount except for the 7 Merchant Alliance. it appeared they finally found out about Ryan's fate.
Surprisingly, no one from the 7 Merchant Alliance had to find trouble with him contrary to the masked cultivator's words.
"Where is that guy?" Dawn murmured, the masked Cultivator seemed knowledgeable. He wanted to find more information from him.
After thinking about some random things, Dawn sat down on the ground in a meditative position and started to cultivate.
2 hours passed in the blink of an eye.
Neigh! Neigh! Sounds of horses and heavy footsteps forced Dawn to open his eyes. Zampa was leading a group of people who appeared to be laborers carrying bags on their shoulders.
"Where should I place this bag?"
"What's inside it?"
"Put it anywhere you want," Zampa said in a loud voice.
Thump! Thump! Hearing his voice the people placed the bags on the ground and after that, they started to unload the horse carts.
Dawn walked near him and asked.
"What's inside these bags?"
Hearing Dawn's words Zampa bowed in his direction before replying.
"Blood of a demonic snail. It is a good binding agent."
"Yeah, I see." Dawn didn't know what the demonic snail's blood was so he could only nod.
The laborers on the side watched the interaction between both of them while silently talking among themselves.
"Who is this young man?"
"Why is senior Zampa being respectful toward him?"
"Maybe he is senior Zamp's son."
The hearing of cultivators was insanely good not to mention those at the Channel Construction Realm.
Zampa's face instantly darkened when he heard those words, especially the last line.
Like a ghost, Zampa disappeared from his original position and appeared in front of that guy who spoke the last line.
Slap! A loud sound resounded in the surroundings!
Ahhh! Following the sound of the slap, the man cried out in pain.
Blood started to flow out of the men's ears.
"You can think whatever you want, but can't say anything that comes to your mind."
Zampa looked at every laborer present with cold eyes and announced.
"This is a warning! There won't be a next time for you."
Dawn looked at this scene from the side and didn't comment.
After this short incident work resumed as usual.
The incident with Ryan made Dawn reconsider his plans. The power wielded by cultivators was enormous.
If he encountered Ryan when he was just in the Body Refining realm.
None of his monsters would be able to defeat him.
So he decided to change his plan and decided to covertly do his things.
Suddenly, Dawn started to feel nauseous and hai vision started to spin.
Zampa and the trees in front of him were disappearing.
As if reality seemed to be melting one second there were trees in front of him and another a tall building.
"No way!"
Dawn felt a strange but familiar feeling. Without thinking about anything else he used Astral Serpent Dance to its maximum speed and disappeared.
And in just minutes he appeared inside the black castle of Robert.
"Don't let anyone inside."
Dawn told the guards and hurriedly entered inside.
"Come out Barbarian." Dawn crushed the card in his hand.
"Don't let anyone enter in~" Before Dawn could finish his words, he fainted and his body fell to the ground.
The Barbarian looked at his fainted master with confusion in his eyes.
He could feel from the connection that his master was perfectly fine but he was in deep sleep.
