no chance to resist

"Humans leave the bag behind and we will leave your body intact." The Black Thunder Tiger opened its mouth and roared.

Its roar was like a booming thunder that filled the mind of the faint-hearted with fright. One weak-willed and seriously tired soldier from Dawn fainted.

Puchi!

The impact wasn't just limited to one man.

Dozens of men that were following behind Dawn spitted blood from their mouths and fell to the ground.

Even Harmon felt as if someone had pierced his head with a sharp nail, not to talk about mere mortals.

Fortunately, for Dawn's group Black Tiger's intent wasn't to kill Dawn's group members because it was still young and stupid. If it was wise, it would directly kill one or two members of the group to create deterrence.

Black Tiger was a really shrewd and naive leader. Its train of thought ran differently, it didn't want to directly attack and suffer casualties as it knew no matter how large his group was some casualties were bound to occur. When things can be done this way, who knew these humans might just be cowards and easily give up?

The Black tiger was about to open its mouth once more to warn humans. Suddenly, the Tiger felt its vision spinning.

Dawn had appeared behind the Black tiger like a phantom, he grabbed the Tiger's tail and used all his strength to lift him up in the air.

The muscles on Dawn bulged, and the Ring of Continuity appeared behind him to enhance his strength further. This time the Ring was even more stable than before. Unlike earlier where it looked as if it would break with the slightest touch.

The beat was immensely heavy as if it was not made of flesh and blood, instead made of pure iron. The Origin heart pushed mana inside Dawn's channels into overdrive casting his strength to raise even more higher.

From Dawn's rough estimate, his strength in this state was similar to a Channel Construction Realm cultivator at rank 6.

The black drew a semicircle in the air and was brutally smashed to the ground. The impact created a small shockwave that sent the dust and debris flying in every direction.

Dawn wasn't going to let the black tiger recover from the shock. He needed to finish the Black tiger in an instant otherwise the consequences would be something that Dawn would never want to see.

"Mana bullets!" Dawn pointed his hand in the direction of the Black tiger and muttered in a barely audible voice.

Following his words hundreds of Dark Mana bullets appeared in front of Black Tiger and pierced its body and killed him instantly.

[Ding! You have received the origin essence of a monster in the Channel Construction rank 1]

Dawn didn't bother looking at the fate of Black Tiger and the notification that he received following his death. Instead, he closed his eyes and focused, hundreds of comparably dim mana signatures appeared around him.

"Flow Reversal!" Without even opening his eyes Dawn muttered in a barely audible voice.

Dawn's words were death sentences for the hundreds of Thunder Tigers. Who still hadn't processed what was happening around them.

Boom!

And sadly they won't even realise as the mana inside their body started to flow backwards and they exploded from inside.

Dawn opened his eyes and looked at the gory scene around him and sighed.

What if one day suddenly a Cultivator with higher strength than him appeared and turned his body into powder?

Would his fate be the same as those monsters?

If the rogue Empyrean right now appeared in front of him. Dawn was sure he would die without a doubt.

Harmon and the others were looking at this scene with a horrifying look in their eyes. The events that just occurred were too much for them.

First, they were surrounded by hundreds of monsters and in the next second they were surrounded by corpses of the same monsters.

Harmon wondered if he could even call them corpses as because of the explosion most of the bodies have liquified and painted the ground with their blood.

Raven had a dazed look in her eyes. She felt as if she was seeing Dawn for the first time.

"What are you guys looking at, start moving or don't blame if someone appears and kills all of you." Dawn's words brought everyone to reality.

Such commotion was bound to attract the attention of nearby monsters. Dawn didn't want to waste his time dealing with monsters that didn't even help him in levelling up.

Dawn started to move once again followed by the group of people. None of them spoke while walking, especially Raven was completely silent unlike before when continuously chit-chatted.

Dawn was glad by this development, at least something good happened. Now he was less bothered by the accident.

Just like this Dawn and his group continued to move for hours.

By the end of the day, they have successfully completed their journey to Destar City, the biggest city of Barren Wasteland.

A wall made of white marble had appeared in front of them. The wall glowed periodically, making it easier to notice from a distance.

A group of soldiers dressed in full plate armour moving through the forest suddenly stopped.

"What happened here?" A soldier jumped down from the warhorse and muttered in a slightly feminine voice.

The soldier removed her helmet, revealing her beautiful face. If anyone from the Destar city was here they would have instantly recognised her as one of the commanders of the Destar tribe.

Her beautiful brows were scrunched together in a frown.

"Commander, look to the North of you." A voice filled with shock and fright at the same time.

Suddenly, she was forced out of her thoughts by the voice of one of her men.

When she turned her head in the North, her eyes widened in shock.

The huge body of Tiger filled with numerous holes was lying on the ground bleeding profusely.

Even she was not capable of dealing that much damage to the Black Tiger even though she could kill it.

And judging from her surroundings. The tiger wasn't given the chance to resist and was instantly killed.
