Welcome to the Hasbourg Academy: Part II

Annabella seemed conflicted. She seemed happy and upset to see Reagan. Was it because Reagan was with Yennifer or because she was still angry that Reagan had left her? The tension was palpable. Yennifer randomly said, "Get a room, you too!"

Annabella replied dismissively:" Why am I not surprised that such an ungodly comment came from you?"

Yennifer rolled her eyes and said, "You seem so comfortable pressed up against Reagan. Take it to the next level. I am sure Reagan will be happy to oblige."

Annabella realised how intimate they looked right then. She rose gracefully and walked in front of Yennifer. They began a heated back and forth. Reagan, still on the floor, enjoyed the show. There were two women, equally beautiful but completely different.

On one side was Annabella. She was wearing a knee-length skirt in a deep shade of purple that caught the eye and added a regal touch to her outfit. Complementing the purple skirt, Annabella wears a tailored coat in sleek black that enhances her silhouette. Under the coat, she wears a crisp white blouse that adds a sense of classic sophistication to her outfit. Annabella's ensemble is brought together with sheer black tights that provide a polished and seamless transition from the skirt to her black high heels. To accentuate her outfit, she accessorised with a necklace embellished with shimmering amethyst stones. For a touch of luxury, she wore silver bracelets on her wrists. Her make-up was subtle, with a touch of purple eye shadow to bring out the colour in her eyes and enhance her natural beauty.

On the other side was Yennifer. She wore a pair of black high-waisted trousers that hugged her figure perfectly, accentuating her slender legs and exuding a sense of feminine sex appeal. A crisp white shirt hugs her figure perfectly, its clean lines and tailored design exuding a sense of refinement. Completing her ensemble is a black and white coat that exudes a sense of authority and commanding presence. She wore a pair of sleek black boots that added a touch of edge and completed her polished look. Subtle silver jewellery adorns her wrists and fingers, adding a touch of sophistication. Her make-up is bold yet enhances her natural beauty, with subtle emphasis on her white irises and black pupils, and a hint of red colour on her lips.

Reagan snapped back to reality as both girls turned their attention to her. Annabella then said coldly, "Are you planning on getting up and apologise anytime soon?"

Reagan was hurt by her coldness. But she kept her expression blank.

Yennifer then said with a sly smile, "She's been hit by a train. Give her time to recover. After such an impact, the restoration spell might take a little longer".

They started bantering again. Reagan thought to herself, "I'm not going to get involved in whatever this game is. None of them really care about me. I'm just a new toy."

She stood up, ignoring both of them, and straightened her clothes. Then she said emotionlessly to both of them, "Now... you're going to listen to me. I am not going to be the new toy you fight over to entertain yourselves in your spare time".

Yennifer said dismissively:" That is brave. It is not that deep. Trust me, Stone."

Annabella also said, "That's pretty far-fetched."

Reagan continued: "If that is the case, what I am about to say will make a lot of sense to both of you.".

She walked up to them and ran her hand through her hair as she said in a flirtatious but serious tone, "I'm going to leave this place. I'm not going to try to be close to either of you. I will stay on my side and I hope you will do the same."

Before they could think of an answer, Reagan walked out, greeting and smiling at the girls who passed her.

Yennifer chuckled and said, "She has quite a temper. That... is attractive."

Annabella sighed as she looked at Reagan and replied, "That is of little interest to me.

Yennifer walked past her with a whimsical tone as she said, "If you say so!!! At least try to hide it."

Reagan decided to check out the fencing room. There were students practising. It was entertaining to see that this school valued something other than magic.

Arthur, who was sparring with Harry, spotted Reagan and said loudly, "My! My! My! Low life is allowed in this institution. All hell has finally broken loose. Reagan did not move and continued to survey the area. Annoyed, Arthur threw a sword at her at the speed of light. This is a spell that causes an object or person to move at the speed of light. For a split second, Reagan considered her options:" I can either stop it, but that would blow my cover because I would have to use light, or I can dodge it... showing sharp senses and agility. Good enough, but we can do better. On the other hand, I can use Death Spectral Energy to slow the sword and Hellfire to destroy it and put on a show."

Reagan concentrated and held out her hand. The invisible sword reappeared and stopped in front of her hand. Flames as red as blood turned it to ash. The students present fell silent. Time seemed to freeze. All that remained was Reagan's silent food step. Arthur said, "Do not tell me you are impressed by this cheap show. I deliberately weakened the spell. I have no interest in killing a death mage. The people around relaxed and resumed their training. Arthur then said:" Harry... Let's get on with it.". Harry chuckled and whispered to his brother, "We both know you used the spell to its full potential.". Arthur ignored him and attacked.

A girl was chasing Reagan. She caught up with her and said, "Not bad for a stone!" Reagan sighed, "You want a piece of me too. Goddamn you people! Give me some space. You all get a chance for an ass-whooping.

The girl laughed amusedly and said, "I come in peace. Well done! You are almost as strong as me."

Reagan grinned and replied, "Cute! What is your name?"

The girl replied, "My name is Torry Salazaros, second in line to the House of Malvolius. And you are Reagan Stone. I have heard my twin brother, Anthony, speak of you."

Reagan replied, "Torry Salazaros... Nice to meet you. Please keep the Malvolius kids from trying to bully me because I will not hold my punches.

Torry replied: "My brothers and I have asked them to leave you alone. You have enough to worry about. Arthur Winstor? Really! What a way to start! Anyway... I had a question"

Reagan laughed and relaxed:" Shoot!"

Torry asked embarrassed: "Are you and Yennifer a... thing? I saw you this afternoon. She was making faces...I rarely see that".

Reagan coughed and said, "Nope... Nothing. I just want to do my time and go."

Torry smiled and replied, "Fine. I have a thing for her and you wouldn't want me on the bad side.".

Reagan nodded and held out her hand. Torry shook it and said, "You can join us for dinner tonight. Reagan replied, "I will pass. I am not about that life.".

As night fell, all the students were invited to the Great Hall for supper. As the students gather in the Great Hall, the air is filled with the buzz of conversation and laughter, blending harmoniously with the soft melodies of the background music.

In the center of the hall are several long, large wooden dining tables. The tables are meticulously laid with shining silverware, sparkling goblets, and crisp white tablecloths, all arranged in perfect symmetry. The table is laden with an abundance of delicious food, tantalizing the senses with its aromatic flavours and enticing presentation. Each house joined the table of their peers. Reagan walked in and looked around to find an empty table. She found one at the back and quietly joined it. On one side, the power couple, Arthur and Annabella, entertained by the crowd of their sheepish followers and Harry, barely able to hide his lustful gaze at Annabella.

On the other side, Yennifer was surrounded by all the other heirs to the great houses of the death mages and their suitors. The ones who stood out the most were the first and second in line to the Malvolius throne. What was their name? ... yes... Torry and Anthony.

Steven Westor entered with a group of teachers. They told the students about the new arrivals. After informing the students about the new schedules, the teachers introduced themselves. Then the students were invited to eat.

After dinner, Steven joined Reagan for a little chat.

Steven said casually, "I hope you are being treated well. It will take time, but your classmates will soon warm up to you.

Reagan said coldly, "Yeah sure...I'll do my time and go."

Steven chuckled and handed over books as he said, "Your guardian told me you were unruly but this is another level. Anyways...I have you in class IV. In 2 years, you will be...out as you said."

Reagan smiled and nodded, "Thank you, sir!"

Steven said before he left, "I have seen the way certain "people" look at you. I would advise caution."

Reagan replied, "Prudence is my second name.".

On that note, her first day was over. Stick around and see what happens next
