The nearly collapsing floor stabilized once more under the support of the energy barrier that had entrapped the group of attackers for some time. SHIELD's special ops team and Hawkeye found themselves briefly stunned by the sudden appearance of the peculiarly dressed squad of female warriors.
"Reinforcements? Hawkeye, who are these reinforcements?"
Though Daredevil had an exceptional sense of perception, his eyes couldn't see, so he could only sense the arrival of a female team. However, he didn't experience the same level of shock as Hawkeye and the others who witnessed this strange scene firsthand.
"Uh... I'm not sure how to describe it, but it's genuinely surprising!" Hawkeye replied somewhat strangely through the earpiece when he heard Daredevil's inquiry.
Subsequently, Hawkeye emerged from behind cover once more. He had observed that despite the attackers relentlessly bombarding the energy barrier, they couldn't breach it, just like the energy shields on the special ops team and Daredevil had remained unbroken.
"Hawkeye, let these reinforcements handle the attackers." Just as Hawkeye re-emerged, the voice of Captain America, Steve Rogers, came over his earpiece, sounding somewhat breathless.
It seemed that Rogers wasn't having an easy time dealing with the other group of attackers. Armed only with his shield for both offense and defense, Rogers was likely finding it challenging against the high-powered energy weapons and energy shields.
"Understood, Captain," Hawkeye acknowledged.
Even if he hadn't agreed, without the spatial energy-enhanced arrows, Hawkeye couldn't inflict any damage on the attackers. When Rogers' voice sounded in Hawkeye's ear, the same message reached all members of the SHIELD special ops team, including Daredevil.
They all stood up from their cover, holding their weapons and watching the squad of female warriors with peculiar equipment charging towards the attackers entrapped within the energy barrier, looking serious and determined.
"Ha!" With a synchronized battle cry, seven bald Black female warriors brandishing long spears charged directly through the energy barrier.
The energy barrier, which had been protecting the attackers from the powerful energy weapons, didn't obstruct these warriors but allowed them to pass. Hawkeye and the others observed the ensuing battle between the attackers and the mysterious female warriors through the semi-transparent energy barrier.
Bang, bang, bang!
"Wow... They're really fierce!" Hawkeye couldn't help but mutter as he watched the seven female warriors engage the attackers within the energy barrier.
As the special ops teams armed with vibranium weaponry stormed SHIELD headquarters, creating some destruction, and as the Avengers, including Captain America Steve Rogers, confronted the situation for a minute, the reinforcements from Wakanda finally arrived.
Subsequently, SHIELD completely entrusted the situation to the Wakandan support team.
Rogers even instructed the SHIELD teams not to interfere in the combat between the two groups or exhibit any signs of anxiety toward the reinforcements. After all, Lin Rui had already provided Rogers with an overview of Wakanda's true situation.
