Daniel calmly looked at Morrison sitting across from him.
Seeing Daniel's lack of reaction, Morrison couldn't help but ask, "Aren't you afraid?"
Daniel's expression remained cold, "Why should I be?"
Morrison fell silent for a moment, then furrowed his brows, "I had everyone chased out, leaving only you here. Aren't you curious why?"
Daniel took a sip of his coffee, appearing utterly uninterested in anything else, "Not curious."
For a moment, Morrison was at a loss for words. In his imagination, his entrance was supposed to be cool, awe-inspiring, and intimidating.
He had thought it would provoke a strong reaction from Daniel, but to his dismay, the man seemed entirely indifferent.
Morrison felt a bit uncomfortable, "Aren't you curious who I am?"
