"You are still alive, thank God."
Upon hearing no strange noises from the other end of the phone, Reesi snorted coldly:
"Have you not started playing games with Lydia yet? Or is it already over?"
"The last line you said is an insult to me."
Luo An rolled his eyes: "I'm fine, we'll talk later."
After hanging up the phone, Luo An bent down to pick up a fallen paperclip, noticing the unnatural blue gleam at the tip, he smiled:
"You really surprised me tonight, dear. What is this? Some kind of nerve toxin?"
"Fu-k!"
Lydia, sitting paralyzed on the floor, cursed under her breath and wiped her face clean of liquor, then looked up and gave Luo An a glare before explaining in a calm tone:
"It's not a toxin, it's an agent that can make people faint rapidly."
"Just faint, plain and simple?"
Luo An twitched his eyelid, leaned over to look at Lydia, whose makeup was a bit messy but still quite beautiful, and smiled:
"Do you think I would believe that?"
"Hmph!"
