Wang Zhiyuan grabbed a couple of packs of cigarettes on his way since he had some time to spare.
Bighead remarked, "You've been puffing away like a chimney lately."
Wang Zhiyuan simply replied, "Tired."
Bighead sighed, "Yeah, tell me about it. Why does it feel like the cases never end? I used to watch those Hollywood movies with non-stop action, neighbors or relatives always getting into trouble. I thought they were far-fetched, but now that I'm a cop, I realize the world is really that crazy."
Wang Zhiyuan opened his mouth to say something, but couldn't find anything to counter that, so he just closed it again.
Bighead continued, "Between you and me, I kinda admire that Zhou Zhaotao guy."
Wang Zhiyuan lit a cigarette and asked, "Why?" There were people at the company who admired him, but a cop? That was new.
Bighead said, "The guy had some serious skills."
Wang Zhiyuan almost choked on his smoke.
