Episode 1

TAKE ME HOME MISSION TO SAVE...

Episode 1

" let us take her to the hospital first they rushed her to the hospital the doctor check her and shook his head.

" Doctor,what is wrong with her grace ask the doc.

"she did an abortion and her womb got permanently damaged,so even if she survive it she will not have womb again" He said

On hearing this,grace Collapsed and died instantly.

" Oh God! Nooooooooooo!" folake shouted in a very loud voice and woke up from her long sleep,

she sat up in the bed staring fearfully around the room she was completely drenched in her own sweat" So its all a dream! A very bad dream" she muttered to herself

she kept on darting glances around as if there were ghost in the room bent of making life difficult for her.

Her loud shout promptly woke her bad mate comfort from her sleep she jarked up and one look at folake made her heart skip a beat

" what is it folake?Are u ok?What's wrong with u?"she ask in rapid succession" why are u sweatin like this?" she queried further

Episode 2

Folake could not make any answer,comfort was alarmed she sat beside her on the bed and tired to reassure that all was well

" Just accompany me home" Folake said in a tired,fearful voice l want to go home and see my mother" She added

She could not believe that all those things happened in her dream she had just been sleeping and dreaming

She insisted on going home and early the following morning she in company of comfort went to see their form mistress and obtained permission for her to go home and see her mother

Despite all the questions thrown at her by both the form mistress and comfort she Stoutly refused to talk until they got home

At home,grace was surprise and frightened to see her daughter who had just gone back to school the previous day

" what happen? Why are u here are u sick? Has the school thrown u out? She question breathlessly

the sight of her

mother

hale and hearty

reassured her and she finally opened her mouth.

Episode 3

The story was told! Briefly but omitting no important detail,folake related to her mother and comfort what she saw in her dream

they both listened with rapt attention,interrupting her neither with question nor comments

Grace heaved a heavy sign of relief when she finally finished

they both shook their heads in wonder and amazement but grace slightly shaken by the whole tale she had a premonition

" this is really serious,l people it as a serious warning to u especially now that u have entered senior secondary" She warned

" what about daddy bringing in another wife?" Folake asked unconvinced that was the remote cause of everything that happened in the dream" she pointed out.

" no l do not think ur father can do a thing like that though he has been desperate about haven another child our inability to bear more children has never been blamed on me beside,doctors have assure us that there is still hope for me to conceive again" She assured her daughter.

Episode 4

" Mama,l am really scared l don't want him to marry another wife" Folake said

" He will not,ok? Just be careful when u get back to school the dream is meant to warn u against Rough life in school" She advised her

" l wish l can believe all u have said" she said and turned only to see what made her to freeze.

Just then,Mr Alabi came back to the house with a young lady

coincidentally,the lady happened to be the same woman that he later married in folake's dream

On recognizeing her,folake fell down and fainted

Folake fainted immediately she saw her father with the same lady she saw in her dream

She was out for a pretty long time and her friend and parent had a tough time reviving her

They fanned her frantically and applied cold water on her forehead

Her mother even suggested that they rushed her to the hospital before things got out of hand

" Let us get this girl to the hospital before she dies l don't understand the meaning of all this" Grace said

Episode 5

" Take it easy mama folake it is just a case of fainting and she will soon be alright there is absolutely no need for this panicking" Mr Alabi reassured her

As if to confirm her father's submission folake suddenly stirred morosely,lazily opening her eyes

She only saw her mother,her father and comfort by her bedside not noticing the lady starring wide-eyed at her by the corner of the room

She opened her eyes wider and quietly got up,looking vacantly around,surprise and amazement written all over her face

" where am l? where am l?" she asked nobody in particular

Everybody looked at one another in utter bewilderment

" Folake,calm down and stop shouting nothing bad has happened u just fainted and l am sure u will be ok in no time u only need some rest,ok" Mr Alabi said in an affectionate but relieved voice

" Pls tell me dat it was not her l saw somebody pls tell me dat it was not her & everytin will be okay" She said

Again ignoring her father's pleas

Episode 6

It was then that the mother recalled the dream that folake had just narrated before going out to welcome her father the thought filled her with dread she lowered her head in deep thought

Folake managed to get up and went out to ease herself with comfort closely assisting her

Meanwhile,the lady,Asoh,who had by now exited the room to give the family privacy,was seated outside at the corner of the house

Immediately folake saw her,she screamed so loudly that even the lady was startled

Her parent ran out and saw folake trembling like a leaf and pointing at the lady

She did not talk she was just screaming and pointing at Asoh as the memories of the dream flashed through her mind

Comfort almost lost her senses at the sight of her friend screaming as if the end of the world had come

"what is the meaning of all this

embarrassment" Comfort ask,not knowing what else to say

Folake Mom took folake inside while the father went to calm the lady down as she was in tears

Episode 7

" I am sorry for the embarrassment she just came back from school and I am sure she had a lot on her mind " alabi tried to pacify asoh

" maybe she doesn't want me to stay with u people I can find another place l will hate my self if I should become the cause of trouble in your family " Asoh suggested

" no it not that I have not told them why u are here so relaxed and feel at home I will soon settle with them wait for me while I go in and talk to them " he said and went to talk to his wife and child

Folake told grace and comfort that the lady asoh was the same person she saw in her dream who had driven Mr alabi to chase her mother from their home

" what ? Are you sure of what you are saying? And come to think of it, who is she and what is she doing here in the first place?" Grace asked, springing up to go and comfort mr Alabi and almost colliding with him

"Folake, how are you now? " mr alabi asked, but folake did not answer him

Instead she stared at him in utter disenchantment

" who is that lady and what is she

doing here? Grace asked in an aggressive tone

" take it easy let folake recover first " mr alabi said reasonably, trying to calm his wife down

But grace would have none of it she continued with her grandstanding

" how can she recover when the lady you came home with is the cause of folake problems " she said in the same aggressive voice

Mr. Alabi was taken aback and did not know what to say or make out of the perplexing situation

" how can she be the cause of folake problems when they are just meeting for the first time? This is confusing or do I say mystifying any way, my daughter " mr alabi said turning to comfort " please excuse us we have a family issue to discuss " he told comfort and she gradually went outside to give them some privacy

Grace was already standing with her hands akimbo and her eyes blazing as if she was ready to fight so alabi asked her to sit down so he would explain to them who the lady was

Folake sat up to listen to her father he told them that asoh was a victim of the flood disaster that ravaged her village from neighbouring Cameroon

She was from one of the village that the flood had affected she was a victim who took refuge in ldi Ebun village

The king had summoned all the elders and pleaded with them to take in victims temporarily while the Cameroons government made better arrangements for their rehabilitation

" the lady was assigned to us until the government provides better accommodation " he explained

Grace stood up menacingly and moved towards mr alabi with her fore finger pointed straight at him

" over my dead body, did you hear me? I said over my dead body she is not staying in this house why did you not consult me first before accepting the girl or even informing me that you are bringing in a stranger?" She asked angrily " whatever the reason, she is not staying here unless I am no longer the mistress of this house " she rounded off definitely

" how can u say a thing like that? What if we were the flood victims? It could have happened to anybody we should show our neighbor's kindness in a time like this " mr alabi pointed out matter of factly

" I know it's could happen to anybody, but why it be this particular lady that they sent to us? Why her? Well I don't want her and she is not staying and that is final " grace said relentlessly

Folake supported her immediately and alabi shook his head in utmost disbelief

" she could have gone with any of the elders but we were not to decide who should go with us it was the king 's decision and I couldn't have said 'no ' and what if he had asked me to go with a family? How would we cope with their feeding and all that? " he asked his wife

" I prefer to manage with a family rather than keep a desperate woman in my house " she said to the amazement of mr alabi

" what are you talking about? What makes her desperate? In fact, what has this innocent lady done to deserve such abusive words?" he asked

" mama, I wish I could stay back to fight with you and ensure that nothing happens between daddy and her, but I have to go back to school I wish it had happened during our school break I would have helped you sort it out " folake told her mother

" I know, but u have to go back to school and concentrate on your studies I will handle the situation very well " grace assured her worried daughter

Folake wished her mother well and went back to school asking, God to take care of everything.....

Episode 8

Grace confided in one of her sisters,Bimbo,about the latest development in her family,and the woman shouted at the top of her lungs.

" such a thing has been happening and its now u are saying it?" Bimbo asked grace

" l thought it was something l could handle but l have seen that its beyond my strength even though l have not notice any changes in my husband's attitude,something tells me he has ulterior motive" Grace replied

" Do u still need soothsayer to tell u that,even when folake has seen everything in her dream?u better act now before its too late" Bimbo advised

" Act now? How?" Grace asked confused

" U are asking me?okay,tarry and do not strike until u are stuck then l will answer the question" Bimbo replied and turned her attention to what she was doing

Grace was confused she did not know the right steps to take

" Baba folake hasn't misbehave if l act and the mater getout of hand l will be blame for being reckless lord what do l do?" she ask her self....

Episode 9

Before grace went home that day,she had made up her mind to drive Asoh Out of the house one way or the other"Go she will becaus go she must" she decide firmly.

The following day,grace washed her clothes and spread them on the rope to dry,then left for the market

the clothes dried and Asoh carefully packed them together and spread her own there after washinh hers

Grace came back in the evening and immediately she saw Asoh's clothes were in place of her own,she became instantly Enraged

" Yes,this is the opportunity l have been waiting for" she said to herself

hastily dropping the basket she brought from the market

" were is this husband snatcher?were are u?" she shouted

Asoh heard her voice and came out only for grace to grab her by the neck and slap her several times before she had the chance to explain herself

As if that was not enough grace threw away all the clothes

Asoh had washed

without bothering to find out were Asoh kept her(Grace's) Own Clothes...

Episode 10

"u have bitten more than u can chew u must live this house today" she said and went inside Asoh room and threw her tins out

Asoh was as helpless and speechless as she was amazed,all that she could do was cry and plead with grace to pardon her if she had wronged

After Throwing out her things,grace went inside her room and brought a padlock and tightly locked Asoh's door with it

" go back to ur so called flood devastated village after all,the flood has receded" She told the crying lady heartlessly

Asoh quietly gather her property,put them in her bag and moved to a bench a few feet away from the house

Still sobbing she had nowhere to go,she remained there until mr.Alabi returned from work

Mr Alabi came back from work late that day when he saw Asoh,she was shivering and hugging herself tightly

He was shocked seeing her outside by that time of the night

he felt very bad and of course he did not need to be told what happen and who was responsible for it...
