The further the car went out into the countryside, the less the concrete clouded out nature, and everything began to turn green and lively. The winter season was approaching, but thanks to Annandale being closer to the equator than the north or south poles, the season was extremely mild in the region.

The temperatures wouldn't even drop low enough to kill off the delicious strawberries, allowing them to be farmed almost year-round. It was the same with a lot of other crops, and the weather was often extremely favorable to people as well.

In the countryside, rolling green hills whose grass never died off were accompanied by vast forests, their towering canopies providing kilometers of shaded land for countless types of wildlife to hide beneath.

A number of small and large lakes dotted the landscape, almost all of them being stocked with more than enough fish for all of the nearby country folk to eat their fill.
