Gods Are Above Nobles

The carriage came to the the north gate for the nobles.

"Okay we shall begin the Exams." The examiner said to the twenty student all ages thirteen to fourteen.

Three target laid at a small kind of training yard. Each was about forty yards away. One by one the students came up and sent their spells.

"Flame spear."

"From the earth crack through my target."

"Blow all to the end of heaven"

Each student said out their spells. Considering they were nobles their spells were still decently strong for their age. However they were small and left only small marks on the targets.

"Okay what spell are you using." The instructor asked.

"A spell of my creation miss." I responded.

"Sorry but we only basic spells. Besides no one your age can make a spell." She said sadly.

"Fine I use my most basic spell." I lied as I stepped up.

"I heard he can't use magic."

"Nah I heard his to lazy to learn."

"Does it matter. His going fail in that stance."

I stood loosely allowing my to relax. I then raised my my right arm to the the air and my

left arm to my left stretched.

"What's he doing."

"Can't believe him trying to use a spell that way."

"From hell raise the flames of time. From the sky give life to mine. Break the space below and before. I am Luther I command upon you to bring death before your master." I said.

"What the." Someone tried to say but was cut off by what happened.

The earth before me started to crack open and flames bursted out as the air became dense around me. I moved my arms in a clock wise rotation leaving floating white symbols from where they came. The flames and the air formed together into red particles with a white flame. Then they shot forward and destroyed each target. They put holes through the targets and burnt them. But the targets where made of a magical stone. When I turned around everyone looked at me shock and jaws dropped.

"What was that." The examiner asked slowly approaching.

"The fifth pillar spell of hells time." I said returning to the group with ash and Liz.

"Where did you learn that." They both asked at the same time.

"It's my most basic spell. Plus I created it." I said.

"Sure dude keep your secrets just don't embarrass us.

They said and the examiner still stunned lead is to our dorms. When I looked out my window towards the nearby mountains they we were mere miles away then I thought of something. I had a fortress in those mountains that very few have ever known of. I left some of my old thing from my third life there. My cloaks and swords should be there to still. But still I would have to open it up. Considering it would mean a large chunk of the mountain removed, it seemed best to wait.

As the sun set finally a knock came from my door. But when I opened it only a letter was there.

'We seen what you can do. Our lord we await for you in the shadows.' Is what it read.

I knew that long ago before my slumber I had been known by a select few that called themselves the fifth pillar blessed ones. They were very helpful in the past and kept themselves a secret. There was no way to tell them out unless you new to look for them. I knew they would be very strong and perhaps stay close to me. However I could Rest In Peace considering I knew I was not completely forgotten.

"Welcome class. Today we will be having a field exam for your second day here. This will decide what class your placed in so try your best." Our examiner said.

"Your goal is to each team to bring back three monster cores." The examiner said and released us.

Liz and Ash had joined with me considering we were practically family. We started by going carefully deeper into the forest. I noticed one other team following us however and really didn't like it.

A red hound stood before us. It was a ninth rate monster being very low on the chart.

"What you waiting for get it." I said and Ash unleashed a barrage of water daggers at the beast.

It took them head on but still one kick from Liz ended its pain. We were about to grab e core when someone spoke.

"Just hand it over to us. We already know about how your contracted to a demon." The head boy of five said.

"My god of eve just shut up." Ash said.

"I don't think I have to. Besides you can't beat me anyways. Just hand the core over and we can all be on our way.

"Not happening." Ash said walking in front of us.

"I really just wanted the core but this is also okay." The boy said.

"From the earth that gave us strength rise above for me." The boy said as the ground made a line as spikes bursted out towards Ash.

"Shield me from my fate of death I ask of you." Ash quickly said as a flaming wall bursted around. The rocks and flames slammed against each other both shattering and glowing.

BAM!!!

Three large rocks a bout the size of ones head slammed into Ash throwing him to the ground as he clutched himself where he felt the pain.

"To think you have a contract with a demon haha." The boy said as he laughed while his friends walked beside him.

"Okay you done mocking him for using fire. I get the fact your some higher noble but I really don't care." I said with my hands in my blue coat I walked forward.

"Wow the kid who isn't really a noble. What you gonna due chant some long spell." The boy said as he laughed.

"No because I don't have to in order to beat some body as weak as you." I said mocking him.

"I'm the son of the Duke Jonathan. How dare you mock my strength." He said.

"I'm not mocking you really just saying the facts. On the scale of order no one can command me." I said taking my hand out of my pocket.

"Let me Show you what real magic looks like boy." I said adding emphasis to the last word.
