Chapter 120

  Leah's POV

"Leah, calm down," Darren's wolf said in a calm voice.

I noticed that there was an open wound on his foreleg and it was a nasty cut.

He got that wound because he was trying to protect me.

I immediately felt guilty about shouting at him.

I held up Jorah's body and wailed.

"First of all, Jorah's not dead. There's some concussion in his head and there might be some broken ribs, I'm not sure. But one thing I am sure of is that he's still alive," Darren's wolf said.

I looked down at Jorah in my arms and caught him peeking at me.

As soon as he met my eyes, he shut his eyes and pretended dead.

"Jorah! This isn't funny!" I put him on the ground and jumped up.

"Ouch! Ouch! Multiple broken ribs!" Jorah whimpered and coughed.

I had to pick him up again and hold him in my arms.

He placed his head over my arm and took a long deep breath.

"Thank you, Miss Lewyn, much better," he said.
