The way back to the village did not take long, and soon Damon and his friends were in front of the NPC again.
"You killed 50 wolves this fast? This is a record. Here, take a bonus for your troubles."
Instead of getting 30 copper coins, they got the double, 60. It was not a considerable sum, as the coins were divided into four.
They also got 50 EXP after finishing the quest, which was nice. The first quest was over, and now they had to look for more around the village.
Damon tried to ask the beginner NPC for some clues, and he answered him.
"There is an old friend of mine, the inn's owner. I remember him saying something about looking for help in his mine. Look for him, and tell him Gerard sent you."
It paid off, and they got a clue about a new quest.
"So speaking with the NPCs can get you more things. It is not like the usual games where you only have a set of options to choose from. Awesome!" Shawn said.
The inn was an easy place to find. It was in the middle of the village, with a sign in front of it, saying 'White Branch Inn.'
On their way, Damon thought about how he would use his points. Everyone got five free points every time they leveled up.
The Cleric was a magical class. While the Mage benefited from INT points, Clerics benefited from FTH points. Not only that but Wisdom was also required, as it increased their mana pool and mana regeneration.
Strength and AGI were useless for Damon. It did not benefit the Cleric class at all. He would only put points into those if he somehow got a hidden class that would benefit from it.
So, his best option was to add points to FTH and WSD. Damon decided to put 3 points into FTH and two into WSD.
Faith was the most important, increasing his healing, buffs, and damage from holy spells.
"I'll go with 3 FTH and 2 WSD for now, but if I see that MP is not a problem, I'll start to add more into FTH." Damon thought.
He opened up the character tab and added his points.

After using his points, it was time to enter the inn.
The inn in White Branch Village was not that small, and it looked nice. All of it was made using an oak tree, and the place looked clean and organized.
The village was already empty, with all the players hunting wolves, but the inn was even more devoid of life. Only a few NPCs were inside, and all of them were the inn's workers.
The person behind the counter was a middle-aged man, and when he saw people entering the inn, he was already smiling.
"Welcome, welcome. Can I help you?"
Rebecca whispered among them, "It seems this place does not get that many visitors."
Damon took the lead, as he was doing the whole time, and asked about the inn's owner. To his surprise, the person behind the counter was the owner.
"Gerard sent you? Well, I'm indeed looking for some help,"
"A couple of days ago, monsters turned my mine into their nest."

[New Quest]
[Description: Help Alvin by clearing up the monsters inside his mine.]
[Objectives: Clear the mine.]
[Difficulty: B]
[Reward: ???]
Damon was surprised after reading the quest. Not only him but all of his friends also saw the same thing.
"A B difficulty? That's high. Can we complete it?" Shawn asked and looked at Damon, waiting for his response.
"Well, we have to try. It's not as if we have a lot to lose."
Henry gave Damon a thumbs up and said, "Wise words, bro, wise words."
They accepted the quest, and that made Alvin smile.
"Finally, someone willing to help. There is a carriage just outside that will lead you to the mine. Take care adventurers."
Pure excitement. That was what they were feeling at that moment.
A B-ranked quest was no joke. It was rare, and they got one within a few hours of gameplay.
Alvin went inside the staff area of the inn, and soon someone got out with him. It was the coachman responsible for driving the carriage to the mine.
"You're the adventurers that Alvin hired? It is a pleasure to meet you. Please, come."
The man waved, and they all followed him.
There was indeed a carriage waiting outside. It was big enough to fit all of them.
Two brown horses were in the front, carrying the carriage.
It had been a while since Damon and his party completed the first quest, so other players roamed the village. It was not as empty as before.
When these players saw that carriage passing, everyone thought it was an event or an important NPC.
"What? Players? How the hell do they have a carriage already?"
"I don't know. Let's film it and post it on the forum to get views and likes."
Damon watched everything from within the carriage and could only laugh.
"Imagine if they knew we have a B quest."
"Haha, right. A carriage is enough to impress them, it seems." Rebecca said, covering her mouth as she chuckled.
They left the village with lots of players gazing at them. Someone even posted that in the forums, saying some 'rich players' already had a carriage.
A post in the forum was titled 'How strong is the pay to win in Bless.'
Damon laughed hard when he saw those and shared them with his friends.
There wasn't much they could do inside that carriage, so why not laugh with those stupid posts?
"What's inside that mine for it to be a rank B quest?" Henry asked.
Damon looked through the carriage window and said, "I don't know, but we must prepare ourselves…."
