Waldo inquired, "How are our casualties? Have they been counted?"

Calvert replied with joy, "Yes, they have been counted. Our casualties this time are very minimal. Only one Snow Beast broke through the defense line, and we lost one soldier, with two others injured. Apart from that, we have no further casualties."

Satisfied with the news, Waldo nodded. He also cautioned, "Although we've achieved victory in the first phase, we cannot afford to be complacent. It's highly likely that a second wave of Snow Beasts will come again!"

Calvert and Silva, both frontline commanders, nodded in agreement. Their positions were crucial.

Soon after, they departed, returning to their posts. 

Waldo then examined the source stones handed over by the two of them. 

Thousands of Snow Beasts, including over a hundred Snow Beast Lords, had been killed. The remaining source stones were quite substantial.
