I become the badass villain

Ye Yong was baffled by the task. He asked: "Why do I have to make someone laugh? What's the point of this task?"


[System]: The important plots of the novel hasn't started yet and as host is still a child... there aren't many complex tasks host can complete...as it is a random task...the host will also recieve a random reward....


Ye Yong pondered the task assigned to him by the system. Making someone laugh seemed simple enough, but he wondered who he could target for his attempt at humor. Then.., an idea sparked in his mind.


He decided to go to his sister's room and tell her some jokes. He hoped that she would find them funny and laugh.


He got up from his bed and walked towards the door. He opened the door and stepped out of his room.


He was ready to complete his first task.


Ye Yong walked towards his sister's room, which was next to his. He knocked on the door and heard her voice.


He opened the door and entered her room. He saw her sitting on her bed, reading a book. She looked up and smiled when she saw him.


He smiled back and said: "Hi, sister. I just wanted to tell you something."


He cleared his throat and said: "I wanted to tell you a joke."


"Yes, a joke. Do you want to hear it?" he asked.


She nodded and said: "Sure, I love jokes. Tell me..."


He grinned and said: "Okay, here it is... Why did the chicken cross the road?"


She tilted her head to the right and said: "I don't know... Why?"


He waited for her to laugh, but she didn't. She just stared at him blankly.


He felt awkward and said: "Do you get it? It's funny because it's a classic joke... It's funny because it's unexpected....


She shook her head and said: "I don't get it. It's not funny at all...."


He felt embarrassed and said: "Oh, I'm sorry. Maybe you didn't like that one. How about this one? What do you call a fish that wears a bowtie?"


She looked at him curiously and said: "I don't know. What?"


Once again his sister looked at him with blank expressions...


He felt frustrated...he who is living a second life... couldn't even make a little kid laugh.. and then he thought a little and said : "Fine, fine. Maybe you didn't like that one either. How about this one? How do you make a tissue dance?


She titled to the left and said: "I don't know. How?"


He said: "You put a little boogie in it."


He waited for her to laugh, but she didn't.


she just started at him with a expression like: huh! what are you talking about?...


he felt extremely akward and embarrassed...

He thought to himself again trying to find the best jokes from his memory...And then he Suddenly looked serious and asked his sister...


.... hey! Did you hear about the firefly who went to school?"
