Adela's Point of View

I quickly wiped away my tears and hastened my pace, but I was taken aback when he reached out and hugged me.

"Sorry, Primo. I didn't intend to leave you yesterday," I whispered as he continued to embrace me.

"It's just really important, and I couldn't miss that opportunity, so I did it. I chose to step away for a while, but I did come back, and as I expected, you were already mad. I waited outside your door, and you didn't open it," I told him, then I burst into tears.

I couldn't stop myself from crying. Damn it, I'm so frustrated! I can feel that I made the wrong choice to make Primo angry with me.

"Baby," Primo whispered, and I took a sharp breath.

"I'm sorry too, sorry that I got angry. I'm just mad because you left me yesterday even though I was sick," he said, causing me to cry even more.

"Shh... baby, stop crying," he whispered while hugging me tightly.
