Don't Say His Name

He stared into her eyes once more and she was still giving him that look. Her hand even wandered to her lips and she blinked again, seemingly speechless.

Greg let out a curse and lowered the car's window to take in long drags of the air. After that, he started the car, while his grip tightened again on the steering wheel.

Then she giggled. And her soft giggle bubbled through the air and once again, doing strange things to him.

"What is it?" He asked in a strained voice.

He glanced sideways to find her staring at him with sparkling eyes, with a hand covering her mouth, obviously trying to stifle her laughter.

"Your lips." Lucy giggled. "You have—"

Before she could finish speaking, Greg quickly looked in the review mirror and found his lips all smudged red with that weird thing on her lips moments ago.

He gave her a helpless look and took out an hankie to wipe his lips. This girl would surely be the death of him.
