Greg leaned back against his chair and swiveled it round, to face the large floor to ceiling window, and get a look at the frenzy city blue.

A small laugh, almost self-fulfilling and self-mocking, made it's way out of his lips and echoing back in his chest. He couldn't still wrap his fingers around why he always ended up knowing more than he should. They said opposites attract. However, in his case, the opposite seem to be the norm. Sometimes, he chased after threatening situations. But most times, dangers came knocking at his door and revealing themselves in the strangest of ways.

A loud bang at his desk snapped him out of his thoughts and he swiveled around so fast, but in those few seconds he had pulled up the veil that he always wore. That veil of smile that cascaded around every kind of emotion he was dealing with. Either gloom or happiness, the smile was always there as a shield.
