He Cared That Much

Greg took his time and munched on his breakfast. He obviously was avoiding the subject. But Geroge was not going to let it go. Not when there was a high chance of the wines getting dug up again.

"What if I told you I made her leave?" Greg raised a brow and said calmly.

"Then I'll also believe those wine bottles only contain water," George answered and also raised a brow.

Greg sighed and went back to eating his food. "I don't want to talk about her."

"Because she broke your heart?"

"The hell, she didn't." Greg gave him a narrowed look. "How is that even possible?" He laughed. "It's only been, how many days?" He frowned and observed his fingers as if counting them.

"Its not more than a week since you realized your feelings." George concluded his words for him and gave him a serious look. "Tell me why she left," he asked tiredly and leaned back on the chair.

"It's none of your business." Greg shrugged. "Nor mine."
