The colossal mech towered over the battlefield, its jagged metal plates shifting with a sickening grind, like bones snapping into place. Massive pistons hissed, releasing bursts of steam as the machine adjusted to its monstrous new form.
Inside the glowing cockpit, Cyn sat sprawled out in her oversized chair, legs lazily crossed, one hand twirling through the air as if puppeteering the chaos below was no more effort than flipping a light switch.
You twitched violently in the containment field beside her. A sickly green glow pulsed through your body like a heartbeat, veins of corrupted energy spreading across your form. Your movements were stiff, unnatural, yet disturbingly precise—a marionette on strings.
Your visor flickered, your status display overridden, scrolling unreadable code.
Uzi kept her blade raised, eyes narrowed. "How the hell are we supposed to fight a giant murder-bot when my sibling is literally powering it?"
"No clue!" N barely had time to yelp before a gargantuan fist came crashing down, the sheer force sending tremors through the ground. He leapt back just in time as the impact left a crater where he'd been standing.
V rushed forward, her sword replacing her hand, her eyes locked on the cockpit. "Make something explode and hope for the best!" she called out before launching herself onto the mech's arm. Her claws screeched against the metal as she scaled the limb, tearing through the armor with every grip.
Cyn's distorted giggle crackled through the mech's speakers. "Tongue click. Aww, look at you. Scrambling around like little bugs." Her voice dripped with mocking amusement. "Would be cute—if it wasn't so annoying."
Without so much as a flick of her wrist, the "you" mech suddenly lurched. Its massive arm swung in a devastating arc, the sheer force of the movement splitting the air. V had half a second to react before the titanic limb smashed into her mid-leap, sending her flying like a ragdoll.
CRASH! She slammed through a twisted pile of wreckage, sending metal shards scattering in every direction.
Uzi and N exchanged a glance. "She's fine, right?" N asked, wincing.
"Dead or really pissed. Either way, not our biggest problem." Uzi kept her blade ready.
The mech paused, its massive glowing eyes flickering, scanning them. Then, a low mechanical hum rumbled through the battlefield. The mech's chest split open. From within, an energy cannon began charging, the sickly green glow intensifying, bright enough to turn night into day.
Uzi's expression flattened. "Oh, that's gonna suck."
The cannon fired. A blinding beam ripped through the battlefield, vaporizing everything in its path. Uzi barely managed to grab N by the coat and yank him aside, both of them diving behind cover just as the heat of the blast seared past, melting steel into slag. The air shimmered with the lingering heat.
V groaned as she pushed herself up from the rubble, shaking off the dust and chunks of metal clinging to her frame. "I hate that thing." She rolled her shoulders, her joints clicking back into place before flashing a sharp-toothed grin. "Alright, new plan: we cut the power. And by 'we,' I mean you nerds climb up there and rip Cyn's smug little face off."
Her confidence didn't mask the reality of the situation.
You were moving, but not with your usual fluidity. Your limbs jerked and snapped into place like a marionette yanked by unseen strings. Every attack, every motion, pulsed with that sickly green energy, a constant reminder that you weren't in control—Cyn was.
Uzi gritted her teeth. "We need to separate Y/N from Cyn!" she shouted over the chaos. "If we can force distance between them, she'll lose control!"
Before any plan could form, a familiar, irritated voice cut through the commotion like a knife. "Ugh. You guys are seriously the worst." J. The three turned just in time to see her descending from above, twin blades at the ready.
V let out an exaggerated sigh. She was already stepping forward, her expression unreadable. "I'll distract her. You guys do your thing."
Uzi and N didn't waste time. With a beat of their metallic wings, they launched themselves into the sky, weapons primed as they rocketed toward the colossal mech—toward you.
A metallic screech ripped through the air as the mech's arm swung toward them, the sheer force of the movement tearing up the battlefield below. A barrage of rockets erupted from its shoulders, screaming toward the duo like heat-seeking death.
Uzi and N weaved through the sky, their flight paths erratic, zig-zagging to avoid the explosions. But Cyn was always three steps ahead. With a casual flick of her fingers, the rockets spun midair, their guidance systems hijacked.
"Oh, come on-!" N barely had time to react before the redirected missiles whipped back around, bearing down on them like a swarm of metal wasps.
They dodged, but not without consequence. The explosions were too close, shockwaves sending them reeling. Before they could recover, the mech's enormous fist came crashing down, forcing them to break formation.
Uzi veered left. N swerved right. Not a problem for Cyn. Turrets burst from the mech's shoulders, the rotating barrels locking onto both targets. A relentless hail of gunfire tore through the air, forcing them back as the mech's enormous fists swung in tandem, trying to swat them like flies.
"Catch." Cyn's voice was eerily casual as the mech's massive fingers shot out and clenched around N midair. N barely had time to scream before the metal fingers clamped down. "Bye-bye, birdie."
The crushing grip tightened, sending a jolt of electric agony through N's body. His limbs twitched violently, metal groaning under the pressure. The mech's energy cannon began charging once more, a concentrated green glow gathering at its core.
Aimed directly at N. His struggles were futile. The energy inside the cannon hummed louder, the glow intensifying, seconds from firing.
"AAAAGH!" Uzi barreled through the air, wings flaring as she slammed into the reinforced cockpit glass at full force.
CRASH! The glass spidered with cracks, an impact strong enough to rattle the entire mech. Inside, Cyn didn't even flinch. She leaned back in her chair, tilting her head with mock sympathy.
"Ow." Her expression sharpened. "Okay. Time to die."
Uzi's gaze flicked to where you were restrained, wires and energy tendrils locking you in place like a puppet on tangled strings. Her fists clenched. She turned back to Cyn, eyes burning with defiance. "Y/N's coming with me."
Cyn grinned, cocking her head. "You're a funny little girl."
The air between them grew heavy. The cockpit's lights flickered, shadows warping across the walls. Outside, the mech's colossal form spasmed, its joints locking up as if something had short-circuited deep within. A smirk tugged at Uzi's lips.
The Solver's powerinside her pulsed wildly, erratic tendrils of green flickering across her frame. She took a single step forward—and the mech lurched violently, metal screeching as it stumbled and slammed into the ground, sending a tremor through the battlefield.
"Get away from them!" Uzi snarled.
Cyn snapped her fingers. "Callback ping."
Your body jerked unnaturally, your own hand thrusting forward against your will. Before you could stop it, the AbsoluteSolver activated, an invisible force hurling Uzi backward, launching her straight through the cockpit's shattered glass.
But Uzi wasn't going alone. Her hand latched onto Cyn, dragging her down with her. "N! Go unlatch Y/N from the power-sucking thingy, NOW!" Uzi screamed mid-air.
"Got it!" N kicked his way out of the mech's stiffened fist, twisting free just before the metal fingers clenched shut again.
His wings flared, propelling him forward as he shot into the cockpit, weaving through the chaos. Sparks spit from severed cables, electricity arcing through the air. He skidded to a stop near you, eyes darting over the mess of machinery keeping you in place.
"Hold tight, Y/N. This is probably gonna suck." He reached out, grabbing the cables binding you and ripping them free.
The instant you disconnected, the mech seized up, its glowing veins dimming as its power source—you—was removed. The entire structure shuddered. Outside, the mech collapsed. You were free.
Meanwhile, Uzi and Cyn clashed in midair, each attack sending out shockwaves of green energy. Uzi's sharp gaze flickered, spotting something—Cyn was glitching. She twisted in the air, dodging a claw swipe before lunging in close. With lightning speed, her hand shot straight through Cyn's chest.
She wrapped her fingers around Cyn's heart. Cyn's eyes widened. Uzi yanked the core free, holding it in her palm as tendrils of darkness twisted and writhed around it. A Null hole tore open through the planet itself, a gaping void stretching into oblivion.
From the opposite side of the world, sunlight poured through, a beam of pure, burning light striking Cyn's heart directly. Demonic screams erupted from within. The heart burned, twisting and imploding into a black hole. Reality fractured. A black-and-white void swallowed them both, time itself grinding to a halt.
Uzi's grip on the heart tightened as the abyss pulled at her. Cyn's fingers clamped around Uzi's wrist. With a sick grin, she wrenched Uzi's hand closer and swallowed the black hole, along with Uzi's hand.
A shockwave tore through the frozen battlefield. Uzi staggered back, gripping the stump where her hand had been, which slowly began to regenerate. Cyn slowly turned, her form flickering, distorting, barely holding together.
But she didn't need to hold together. She only needed one last move. She lifted her gaze to the shut-down mech. Even in its broken state, it still held traces of the radioactive energy left behind by you. Cyn's eyes flashed. The mech's veins reignited. Its body twitched, then straightened, then stood.
Cyn's lips curled into a monstrous grin. "Game. Over."
Your systems rebooted in a flash, green energy crackling through your circuits. Data flooded your mind, a fractured mess of memories, battle logs, and sheer instinct. You blinked. The world was in ruins.
The ground beneath you barely resembled a planet anymore—cracked, floating slabs of rock and twisted metal drifted in the chaos, held together by Cyn's unraveling control. The sky above? A fractured void, glitching in and out of existence. Uzi and Cyn's fight had torn reality apart.
Your chest lurched. "Sis!" You shouted, wings snapping open as you launched yourself toward her.
Uzi whipped around mid-air, eyes wide. "Y/N!"
She barely had time to react before the mech's core hummed ominously, energy swelling in its cannon. It was charging. The targeting system locked onto you both. One shot. That was all it needed.
But you and Uzi had been waiting for this moment. A silent understanding passed between you, a battle-forged bond stronger than words. You nodded. She nodded back. With one swift motion, your hands interlocked.
A pulse of green light erupted from the point of contact, rippling outward like a shockwave. Electricity danced along your arms, circuits fusing, energy signatures merging. The sky lit up. A beam of raw power shot into the heavens, blinding in its intensity.
And when the light faded, a new being hovered in its place. No longer separate. No longer unstable. A perfect fusion. A seamless blend of your design and Uzi's chaotic energy, forged into a single, terrifyingly powerful form. One Atomizer Drone.
Your voices spoke in unison, echoing across the battlefield. "F/N is back, baby!"
Your new self locked onto the mech. "Now, let's end this."
With a sonic boom, F/N rocketed forward, colliding with the mech in a clash that shattered the floating debris around them. Speed. Power. Unstoppable momentum. You were too fast. Too strong. The mech's defenses buckled under the assault.
Cyn fought like a cornered animal, throwing everything she had at you. She used the mech's arms as battering rams, fired missiles, summoned spiked tendrils, even warped space itself to slow you down, but it wasn't enough.
F/N's hands shifted, metal morphing seamlessly into uranium miniguns. A hellstorm of projectiles rained down upon the mech, tearing through its armor like paper. Cyn snarled, fighting against the damage, but you never stopped firing.
Bullet after bullet, the mech's once-indestructible frame was reduced to a smoldering wreck. It was over. Or at least, that's what you thought. Because while you were tearing her apart, Cyn had been preparing something worse.
A Null hole. And not just any Null hole—a massive one. It yawned open behind her, a swirling mass of gravitational chaos, its pull so immense it was already tearing the mech apart. Chunks of metal were ripped from its frame, crushed into nothingness.
Cyn grinned, eyes glinting. And hurled it straight at you. The singularity rushed forward, its hunger insatiable. But F/N? They didn't flinch. They didn't panic. They smiled. Their hands shot out, energy crackling as they reached into the abyss itself. The black hole slowed. Then, unbelievably, it compressed.
Its wild, chaotic pull was tamed, its immense gravity forced inward. Smaller. Smaller. Condensing. Until finally, the once-monstrous black hole fit neatly in the palm of F/N's hand. They twirled it casually between their fingers, like it was nothing more than a toy.
And then, with a cocky smirk, they said, "Dropped this, silly." Before they hurled the compressed singularity straight back at Cyn.
The mech barely had a second to register its own demise. The compressed singularity ripped through its core, gravity tearing it apart from the inside out. Steel screamed as it twisted and warped, whole sections of armor plates peeling away, liquefying mid-air before being devoured by the black hole.
The once-monstrous war machine collapsed under its own destruction, fragments vanishing into the void until nothing remained but a rapidly shrinking mass of distorted space. And then, silence.
The battlefield trembled as the singularity collapsed in on itself, a final burst of gravitational force sending shockwaves across the ruins. Dust, debris, and stray tendrils of energy scattered into the atmosphere.
F/N hovered over the wreckage, eyes locked on the only thing that still mattered—Cyn. She lay among the ruins, her body flickering with corruption, still clinging to existence. But F/N didn't hesitate. They shot forward, piercing through the smoke, and reached straight into Cyn's chest.
Her form locked up. Her expression—once smug, untouchable—twisted in shock as F/N ripped out her heart, a blackened, rune-carved singularity pulsing in their grasp. Cyn's optics flickered, flashing rapidly through different expressions before finally settling on pure, frozen disbelief.
And then—F/N swallowed it whole. Her form collapsed instantly. Cyn didn't scream. She melted. Her body disintegrated into wisps of distorted energy, dissolving into the very void she had once commanded. Her legacy—her reign—her existence—gone.
But something was wrong. F/N glitched. Their body shuddered violently, reality itself warping around them. N and V sprinted toward them, desperate to reach their friends, but—something shifted. For the briefest moment—just before F/N's systems shut down and their display changed. Not to Uzi. Not to you. To Doll.
Finally, darkness. Followed by a jumpcut. You jolted awake. You gagged, body convulsing as something thick and metallic-tasting was violently pulled into you. Across from you, Uzi was the same—her Solver form twitching as long, tangled tendrils of corrupted uranium recoiled into her body.
You coughed, trying to get your bearings. The world was... different. The planets above—once normal, distant spheres—were stained red. Uzi saw it too. "...What the hell?"
Elsewhere, Thad and Lizzy scrambled up the wreckage, bruised but alive. Thad launched himself up using his skateboard, flipping mid-air before landing in a crouch. Lizzy, meanwhile, was more concerned with the selfie opportunity. She held out her phone, adjusting the angle—only for it to slip right out of her hand. She lunged for it, missed, slipped on a piece of debris, and nearly plummeted, but Thad caught her by the arm. Lizzy blinked.
Thad smirked. "Gotcha."
Below them... "Agh!" Khan yelped as Lizzy's falling phone bonked him directly on the head. The force was just enough to make him lose his grip.
Only to be caught mid-air by Nori's Solver powers. Nori narrowed her eyes at him, lowering him safely to the ground. Khan let out a wheeze, glancing up at his unexpected savior. "Oof! Whoop!" He chuckled. "Phew. Uh... Thank-"
"You don't know me!" Nori's expression darkened. "...And I hate you!" She then immediately tripped over her own feet and faceplanted into the ground before scrambling away like an angsty gremlin.
The teacher, having witnessed all of this, slowly peeked up from where he had been hiding, then immediately ducked back down.
Khan, meanwhile, just grinned. "Kinda hot?"
Elsewhere again, the school bus rattled out of the wreckage, surprisingly intact, with K, Z, C, and T all cheering like they had just finished a rollercoaster.
Back to you, your vision spun as you tried to push yourself upright. A shadow loomed over you just before something heavy and warm tackled you back down.
"Uzi! Y/N!" A very distressed, very emotional N wrapped you both into the tightest hug imaginable. His voice cracked. "YOU GUUUUUYYYSSS!!!"
V landed nearby, arms crossed, pretending to be totally unbothered. She was not unbothered. You and Uzi—dazed, exhausted, probably permanently traumatized—hesitated for a second. Then, slowly, you two returned the hug.
"Ugh." V smacked N—not hard enough to actually hurt, but hard enough to make a point.
"Ow." N blinked, reluctantly letting go of you and Uzi.
V's expression froze mid-eye-roll. Something was wrong. She inhaled sharply, shoved N back, and transformed her hand into a weapon, leveling it at you both. "Get back!" Her voice shook, not with fear—but with instinctual, razor-sharp caution.
Your visor reflected the glow of her weapon. Uzi barely reacted. She just flicked her fingers, and V's gun snapped sideways, no longer aimed at her. Instead, Uzi was staring at you. And you—stared right back. Not at each other. At your reflections. Your own optics, mirrored in the other's visor.
A pulse of static ran through your core. "...Sis?" Your voice came out quieter than expected. "Your eyes."
Uzi didn't blink. "Our eyes." The realization hit both of you at once.
Her usual piercing green—now had a top-layer gradient of yellow. Yours—once purely green—now turned yellow at the bottom. Something had changed. Something permanent. There was a beat of silence.
"Oh, hell yeah!" Uzi's expression split into a manic grin. "WE'RE DAMAGED OCs!"
JUMP CUT. Uzi's classroom. Everyone was crammed inside. And by everyone, that meant literally everyone. N, V, J, K, Z, C, T—even Doll. Whom you, against all odds, actually remembered to fix up.
Uzi was perched at her desk, casually recounting what could only be described as a nightmare-drenched fever dream of interdimensional horror.
"...And yep," she concluded, voice laced with equal parts exhaustion and amusement, "that's how I learned nightmares are real, and maybe we should've just stayed behind the ol' bunker doors."
A muffled cheer came from outside the classroom. "WHOO! All right!"
Uzi whipped around. Khan was peeking through the door window like a proud dad.
Uzi deadpanned. A casual flick of her wrist— CRACK! The glass shattered with teh Solver. Khan yelped and hit the deck.
Uzi smirked, shaking her head. Her voice softened. "...And maybe, just maybe... I don't actually hate it here." She paused. "...As much." The room was quiet for a second. Then she glanced at you. "But if I never went out there..." She hesitated, her expression shifting. "...I wouldn't have met my sib. Thanks for being here, Y/N."
Your visor flickered. A pair of pixelated sunglasses slid over your optics as you leaned back in your chair. J was comfortably draped across your lap, idly playing with your hair, completely unbothered.
You smirked. "Thanks for finding me. Glad to have been there, sis." You let out a low chuckle. "Wouldn't change a thing."
Uzi's class let out a mix of awkward, scattered applause, the kind you give when you're not entirely sure if clapping is the right response. V and Lizzy, on the other hand, had zero hesitation.
"BOOOO!" V jeered dramatically, cupping her hands around her mouth for extra effect. Lizzy joined in, but with less enthusiasm—like she just wanted to fit in.
From across the room, N smirked and casually flicked a paper airplane straight into V's face. Thwap. V froze. Slowly, she unfolded the paper. Inside was a doodle-filled page from N's 'How to Draw Manga' book, complete with big anime eyes and exaggerated sparkles. Lizzy gave V a look. V placed her palm over her face.
ANYWAY. Uzi clapped her hands together. "Also, now, I can do this! Hah!" Her body twisted into her Solver form. The classroom erupted into absolute chaos. Students screamed, flipped desks, and dove for cover like she just set off a grenade. Someone's chair fell over with a loud CLANG. A guy in the back threw a textbook at her out of pure reflex. It bounced off harmlessly. Uzi grinned.
Later, the hallways were empty, dimly lit, humming with that eerie school-at-night atmosphere. You and Uzi stood by your lockers, the dull glow of the overhead lights reflecting in the cracked mirrors inside. For a second, static flickered across both your reflections.
Your images distorted—bodies flickering into semi-transparent holograms. And behind you, just barely visible, a mass of shifting, eldritch camera-lens eyes loomed in the mirror's depths. Uzi sighed and pulled off her headphones. From inside her tail, and yours, which had sprouted at some point, Cyn's voice chimed in.
"You two look g-g-great." The corrupted AI cooed in mock admiration. "Mm. Have you considered a-a bow, tho?"
Uzi's tail moved first. It yoinked her beanie off her head, plopped it onto yours, and replaced it with a massive, black bow. Your tail wasn't far behind. It adjusted the beanie snugly onto your head, its voice practically smirking. "And you look better with the thing on."
You and Uzi locked eyes. For a second, neither of you spoke. Then, in perfect sync you shared a knowing smile, an exasperated eye roll, and the metallic clunk of both lockers slamming shut.
