Ren paused, he was currently sitting in the hospital examination room. His right hand was clutching a small stick as he tried to use wind elemental chakra to cut through the wood as another batch of memories came from his clone in Konoha. He might not be the most efficient spy but the knowledge transfer utility of the Shadow Clones made him the most up-to-date spy that Konoha had.

The news that someone was masquerading as him, even going as far as to use his wind elemental sword was weird to him. It put him at an extreme disadvantage as a sense of crisis overcame him. He was gaining some good brownie points with Konan and the people of Ame and he didn't want to be hauled off into the T&I department.

'The way whoever was masquerading around as me is operating, he made it seem like I was working together with Konoha.' Ren gulped. His wind elemental training was going well, but since he was doing it small scale, the numbers haven't snowballed yet.

'I can't go against Ame for now. When their spy department hears about this I might have to bleed to prove that I was here all along.' Ren thought he looked at the 3 Jonins who were diligently practicing the chakra control technique.

The closest to mastering the control needed was Konan, though she had gone in the wrong direction. The stone was hovering above her hands perfectly still as she held it up with a constant emission of chakra.

'A few more points in my favor wouldn't be bad,' Ren thought as he spoke, "Alright everyone, gather around."

3 Jonin and Konan shared a look before they once again sat down on the bed opposite to me, Konan was the only one standing.

"Alright, I can see you are getting the hang of it, but you guys are still not where I want you to be. So I'll ramble a bit about chakra theory and see if you guys know anything." Ren spoke. After getting three eager nods he nodded and looked at Konan.

"You are the closest to getting the technique down..." Ren spoke, and even though he had been overseeing their training for a week they hadn't settled on what Ren was supposed to call her. She was an S-rank who could likely quash him down like a bug, but at the same time, she was weirdly sensitive to people's problems.

Addressing her as angel-sama like everyone didn't sit right with him, and he can't exactly call her by her name since no one has ever called her by her name.

"...but you are going in the wrong direction. Your chakra control would no doubt have increased, but it wouldn't go in the direction that I want." Ren spoke but upon getting the confused look he sighed and picked up a stone from the table.

He let it lay still on his hands for a bit, after showing it to everyone he used a small concentrated burst of chakra and the stone flicked up and then it came back down.

"This is what every one of you did, you started by bursting the chakra from your Tenketsu that is situated in your palms. This Tenketsu is normally the one we use to mold and connect the Jutsu so the fest step was surprisingly easy for everyone." Ren spoke getting nods from everyone, even Konan nodded seemingly interested in the lecture.

"The next thought that appeared in your head was 'Should I try expelling a constant stream of chakra'. Each of you tried this approach, Rin and you have better chakra control than the rest of you so they were successful in this approach. Rin isn't there yet but given another week she would be able to perfectly balance the stone like you." Ren stumbled awkwardly at his words, trying not to offend Konan while also trying to make a point.

He then concentrated and manipulated the chakra that was coming out of his hands. The stone floated for a bit and dropped, it maintained an oscillating motion as it continued to rise.

"This is the step where Tadashi and Chikara were at. You didn't have enough chakra control to maintain a steady stream so every moment the amount of chakra leaving your Tenketsu would wary." Ren spoke and Chikara nodded.

"I tried to smother the flow but sometimes I would end up using too little chakra and the flow would stop." Chikara responded sheepishly, for a blurry man he was surprisingly gentle as he mumbled, "...Maybe I'm not cut out for this."

"Hey man that's your decision, but don't give up if you haven't tried your hardest yet." Ren tried to be reassuring... he hoped.

"Alright, I was hoping that you would take cues," he pointed to Rin and Konan, "from the way Chikara and Tadashi were doing and change your approach. And while allowing you to continue the exercise would no doubt help your chakra control, that was a chakra control exercise for combat-focused shinobi." Ren spoke.

He could see Konan's eyebrow rise just slightly and he realized that she got the hint. After getting some more good boy points he continued, "What a medic-nin wants is not a constant flow of chakra. You would simply fry your patient's chakra network leaving them worse for dead."

Ren's warning struck home as the 3 Jonins froze for a moment, "Our bodies are naturally resistant to any invading chakra, whether that is meant for healing purposes or not does not really matter. If you overload someone's chakra network, it would shut down their chakra veins making the part where you were trying to heal, and the connecting chakra network after that, useless."

Ren explained as he pointed his hands at his arm to mimic an Injury. He dragged his finger down to the very tips of his fingers to drive that point across.

"Unskilled use of medical chakra is poisonous, be careful of medic nins too, just because their hands are glowing green doesn't mean they are Kami. I could make it seem like I'm healing you, but a simple overload and you can say bye-bye to Jutsu's for the rest of your life." Ren spoke, he looked at their pale faces and realized that he had frightened them enough.

"The good news is that this process is reversible, so you don't have to experiment with medical ninjutsu in fear of causing irreversible injury to someone. I would be there to look over your work and make sure you don't screw some over. The bad news is that while I could make it so that the most severe damage because of chakra poisoning is removed, it would still damage someone so be careful." Ren spoke getting three nods.

The 3 Jonins had been reluctant to listen to him closely during the first day, but upon seeing him skillfully treat one injured shinobi after another they had come around. He realized that the three of them were quite keen on learning medical ninjutsu. Whether it was because they were forced by Konan or maybe it was due to personal reasons, but they had worked diligently for the past week.

"I didn't tell you this before because I wasn't sure if any of you had what it takes. But I think each of you could make it," Ren spoke and a small flicker of pride shined in each of their eyes.

"So who's gonna tell me what chakra is made up of?"
