Beom-in and Yeon-hee looked at each other, contemplating where to start the conversation. They were preparing the dinner as they exchanged day-to-day gossip. But suddenly the atmosphere changed when the topic changed to Beom-in's operation to pursue Zoe's killers.
Yeon-hee heaved a sigh and looked at Beom-in with the adoring eyes of a mother.
"Beom-ah, I can tell that you have an idea about what I do but can we not talk about it? I don't want Yeon-jun to learn about it yet." Yeon-hee said in a quiet voice.
Beom-in nodded his head and continued washing spring onions.
"But we can talk about your operation," Yeon-hee said as she checked the soup she was preparing. "Are you anxious?"
"Anxious... scared... nervous... worried... You can use the whole set." Beom-in said half serious, half laughing. Yeon-hee raised an eyebrow.
"That's so different from the Beom-in I know."
