An Inevitable Meeting

The first thing that caught Seung-joon's attention was the vehicle's movement. It took his memory several seconds to catch up to the present, and then he became aware of the head-splitting headache. It almost brought tears to his eyes, but Seung-joon tried to focus his mind on his situation. His eyes were blindfolded, and his hands were handcuffed. The air inside the vehicle carried a faint floral scent that made him nauseous.

The last time he was in a situation like this, he had no idea where his captors were taking him, and his heart was burning with fear about what would happen to Min-jun. But this time, he knew, more or less, where he would be taken, or rather to whom he would be taken. Seung-joon was surprised by how calm he felt. He had imagined himself to be in rage at the thought of being under the control of his grandfather, but instead, he felt rather emotionless.
