"well, there goes the skills plan down the drain."
Sakura could make more fire-balls, but she was not very keen on nuking the landscape like this. So she cancelled the idea of getting a skill.
"What was the other option again?"
< master could evolve and naturally gain a skill to create and control a body. >
"And, how do I evolve?"
< master can evolve by completing the evolution criteria. The evolution criteria can be viewed through the evolution tree. >
Sakura understood and thought of the evolution tree. A semitranslucent screen appeared. It had her current race at the bottom and branches extending out from it.
Her next evolution was "Sakura Consciousness (A)" and the evolution criteria was,
"Complete 1 bloom cycle. That's easy."
< reminder to master, that even if you evolve. It doesn't necessarily mean you will gain a physical materialization skill. >
"Eh, that's problematic. Will I gain it if I evolve to Sakura consciousness?"
< no >
"Then how about the next evolution the "Sakura spirit"?
< no >
Sakura frowned after hearing that. She could see that the tree had divided in three branches after the "Sakura spirit" evolution. but those options were blurred.
"Well, no can do. I guess I have to take it slow and study."
She shook her small head and followed the river to go back to the shrine. The sun went down not long after.
Sakura went to the right-side building and prepared to take a bath.
"Huh it was such an exhausting day." Sakura submerged herself in the warm bath.
"I'll directly go to sleep after this."
After the bath she bought a bottle of milk from the system store. She also bought a futon and a pillow. With everything done and set she closed her eyes and wished herself a good night.
< good night master. >

In a certain village there were three men sitting face to face. Two of them were young men while the other was an old man.
"Village elder, you know the villagers are becoming restless. We should quickly go and investigate the matter." One of the young men said.
The old village elder nodded his head.
"Jack, you are indeed right that this is a concerning matter, everyone in the village felt the earthquake just now as well as saw the light in the horizon. My estimation is that it's a powerful monster. We shouldn't incur its wrath."
"What jack said is right. What if the monster decides to attack us?" the other young man said.
"Do you think you can beat the monster that could lit up the whole evening sky and cause that kind of earthquake?" the village elder asked.
The two young men became silent. They also knew that the monster that could lit up the sky to such extent, is anything but weak. They themselves aren't that powerful. They could barely fend of the monster tide that came every year.
The village elder noticed the gloomy face of the two young man.
"don't worry about it too much. I've already sent a letter to the adventurer's guild. They will send some powerful mercenaries to deal with the matter."
"But village elder, don't we always request backup from them during monster tides? They never send anyone during those times. How do you expect them to help us now?"
The village elder looked at the young man and shook his head.
"You don't understand, my child, they don't have the time and resources to help a remote village like ours. But it's a different matter if a powerful monster such as this had appeared. If the monster in question is too powerful it could attack the nearest town which will be problematic for them."
The two young men quietly pondered for a moment and nodded. Their village elder was indeed right.
"Tell all the villagers to prepare dried foods, tell the hunters that they must not venture into the forest for the next few days."
"Yes, village elder."
The two young men said in unison and went out to distribute the orders.

"Am I doing this right?"
< yes, master is doing great. >
"Will this work?" Sakura looked at the paper Infront of her. In the paper she had written "Fire-ball" in Japanese. This was word magic. The system said that with the help of word magic she could create her own spells. It was very helpful to her since she doesn't know many spells aside from the most basic ones.
"Hah, finished."
