Sakura looked at her status and furrowed her brows. While waiting for the other spirit to be summoned she noticed that her body felt a little weaker than usual. So, she had bought out her status to see what happened.

'Seems like some kind of de-buff.'

She decided to ask Astra about the reduced stats.

< Your current vessel restricts some of your stats. >

'Is that so?' this was a little troublesome. But since her mana seemed to be unaffected, she was probably alright.

"Um… Lord spirit. When will you take action?" Sakura's thought process was suddenly interrupted.

Sakura looked behind her and saw the woman and the people still kneeling.

'Oh, I forgot about them!'

Sakura was about to talk to them when,

*Boooom!!!

A massive explosion was sounded as a massive amount of manna surged forth.

Sakura looked for the source of the explosion and found that it came from the summoning site.

'Did the summoning failed?' She pondered.

"Oh." Sakura looked at the smoke and dust of the summoning site in anticipation.

*Rumble *rumble *Zoom

The ground shook violently as a golden pillar of light shot into the sky. The pillar of light was emitting a strong light which instantly made on ongoing war come to a halt. Everyone looked at the pillar of light with fear and awe.

'Wah, so cool!' Sakura couldn't help but look at the immense phenomenon with awa as well.

But her bubble was soon popped as Astra intercepted, < They are flexing. >

"Huh?"

< The other spirit is intentionally creating this phenomenon with holy magic. >

Sakura furrowed her brows. She couldn't understand what the other party was doing. She could create a similar phenomenon with her fire magic. So, suddenly the giant pillar of light didn't look very amazing to her.

But the people on the battlefield only looked at the phenomenon as if they were looking at a god descending into the mortal world.

On one side the soldiers of the attacking side celebrated as their side had summoned a godly entity, while the soldiers on the defending side became gloomy as they started to mentally prepare for death.

The tower of light slowly dissipated as a silhouette of a man walked out of the light. He had an ethereal golden glow and a white-golden armor wrapped around his body. He was floating high in the sky, like a god looking down on the motel world.

Sakura felt a chill run down her spine as she felt something oppressive from this spirit.

'Can I really beat him?'

'But he feels kind of scary, thought.'

< it's because his killing intent is very strong. A being cultivates killing intent by being in constant battle. But since you one-shot pretty much everything, you don't have it nor do you have any resistance to it. >

Sakura nodded her head in understanding before looking at the golden Shihlotte of the man. This time the man looked back at her.

Sakura stood up and started to float in the sky. She slowly made her way to the man as she prepared her mind for battle. Since she won't die, she figured it would be a good idea to go all out.

As soon as Sakura got to a distance where they could converse,

"Little spirit, you are not my match. You probably know that very well. So, I am going to give you a chance to repent. Kowtow in front of me three times and I will let you go."

He said in a haughty manner as he kept his hands behind his back.

Sakura noticed that while telling her to kotow, the man also elevated himself a little higher, just to look down on her.

"…"

In a certain capital of a kingdom,

John returned home and sat on his bed. He was tired from the month-long journey.

"Honey, can you give me something to drink?" He said loudly.

"Coming…" A woman's voice came from the kitchen.

In a moment, a woman carrying a glass of water entered the room. She looked to be around her mid-twenties. She had a gentle demeanor.

"Is everything going alright here?" John asked as he took the water. During this expedition, he was a little concerned about his wife as she was expecting a child. She was already in her eighth month and this was also their first child.

While on their expedition to the "No Man's Land" he was constantly worried about his wife.

"Honey…"

"Yes?" John looked at his wife and noticed that she was trying to say something.

"Honey, could you please stop dangerous jobs like this." She finally said after stuttering a bit.

John finally understood what his wife was trying to say. He chuckled a bit.

"If I don't do my job then what would I do?"

"But being an adventurer is dangerous. What if you face some monster that you can't defeat?" She said timidly.

"Pft, hahaha. You know that I am the best tank around, right?" He said puffing his chest.

"But…"

"For now, just focus on preparing the dumpling," John said while patting his wife's head.

His words made her blush. She was about to say something when

*knock *knock *knock

Someone knocked on the door.
