Furious Theresa

She turned and walked into the bathroom to clean her face, completely forgetting what she was doing before that.

Damien let out a relieved sigh as he was finally able to relieve himself. The drug's effects were still lingering, but he felt much better. It was best for him to leave the room before he did something he didn't want to do.

He planned to confront his mother the next day for invading his privacy. It was about time he put an end to her disruptive behavior in the name of finding an heir.

Leaving Aurora's room behind, he went upstairs to his room so he could cool himself down in his bathtub.

"What are you doing here?" His anger intensified when he found a woman sitting by his bed, appearing as if she was waiting for him. Theresa was definitely provoking his wrath, and he was ready to unleash it upon her.

"Al..pha," the woman grew concerned and didn't know what to say. Why did he look better if he had already taken the potion? Did Theresa deceive her or fail to give it to him? This was bad, she didn't want to die now.

"Get out of my room!!" He shouted, causing the woman to stumble backward. She had never been so scared in her life. Without thinking twice, she hurriedly left his room to avoid his potential wrath.

Damien locked the door after her and slammed his fist into the wall beside the door. If he didn't find a way to calm himself down, he might end up doing something he would regret.

He entered his bathroom and immersed himself in the bathtub filled with cold water. Fortunately, the cold water helped to calm him down. He felt a sense of relief and peace as he leaned his head back against the edge of the bathtub. Thinking about the maid who had pleased him, he wondered if she was alright.

She was so innocent that he couldn't bring himself to engage in intimate activities with her. Instead, he had her stimulate him in another way, or else he would lose his mind. Her scent still lingered in his nose, rare yet soothing.

If he hadn't inhaled her scent, he might have been able to leave her room before things escalated. But her scent was so captivating that he started having selfish thoughts about her. She was unlike any other women he had encountered before. She displayed confidence mixed with fear, as if she knew what she was doing yet didn't fully understand it.

He recalled the breeder his mother had brought him years ago, and they were just... Could it be her?

...

When Aurora emerged from the bathroom, Damien was nowhere to be found. She searched the room for him, but he was truly gone. Was it finally over? She sighed with relief and collapsed onto the bed, exhausted.

Her plan to escape was now going to take longer than she had anticipated. It was disheartening, and she felt like crying. She had spent five years gathering enough money and planning for her revenge, and now it had all gone to waste in one night.

Blushing with embarrassment, she thought about what had transpired with the Alpha last night. It was intimate and inappropriate. How was she going to face him from now on?

Why did Theresa have to use a drug on him to force him to mate with a woman?

"Urghhh," she covered her mouth and let out a scream to release her frustration. Tomorrow would be another day, and all she needed to do was act like nothing happened when she saw the Alpha in the morning.

How hard could it be when they barely knew each other? She convinced herself that everything was settled, and she could have a peaceful night's sleep.

Closing her eyes, she covered herself with the blanket and tried to sleep. Suddenly, she stood up abruptly and began pacing around the room.

"He knows I tried to escape," she muttered to herself, worrying about her failed attempt to flee when Damien caught her. But it was only fair that he overlooked it, right? She had pleased him, which was a fair price for him keeping her secret. She had nothing to worry about.

Unfortunately, he was the Alpha of the pack, and he could command whoever he wanted. What she did was only normal as one of his pack women, but she was in trouble.

Why did he have to arrive just as she was about to escape? The timing was perfect. She sat on the floor and shed silent tears, which she eventually stopped, realizing that crying wouldn't solve any of her problems.

After cooking in the kitchen tomorrow morning, she decided she would retreat to her room and have her assistants help serve. Why hadn't she thought of a brilliant idea like that before? Doing that every day would be the solution, and she wouldn't have to see him anymore.

Feeling relieved that she had finally devised a plan, she smiled and went to sleep.

The following morning, Aurora was already in the kitchen, preparing breakfast for the whole family. With the Alpha's return, his beta and the rest of his entourage would already be in the mansion. She had to wake up early to cook enough for everyone.

"Theresa is so furious this morning, she almost bit me," Aurora overheard some maids whispering in a corner of the kitchen.

It was only natural for Theresa to be furious after her perfect plan had failed. Aurora could only imagine how furious she would be if she found out that the Alpha had been with her the previous night.

If only she hadn't been avoiding the Alpha, she would have seen how ugly Theresa looked at the dining table. Aurora had always wondered why Theresa had so much control in the mansion, and she could only deduce that Theresa and the Alpha were probably related. That was the only explanation for all of Theresa's rash actions.

"You can go serve..." Just as Aurora was about to order the maids to serve breakfast, she was interrupted by Theresa's handmaiden.

"Lady Theresa wants you to serve the Alpha without making any mistakes."
