My Darling Alpha

She slept so much that Grandma Bella was unable to wake her up no matter how much the older woman tried.

Left with no recourse, Grandma Bella had to call the paramedics who had to rush Aubrey to the hospital where she got her stomach pumped. It turns out she had taken way more than 4 pieces of Ambien, in her haze filled state she had taken the entire bottle.

Concerned that she may have tried to take her own life, the hospital placed Aubrey in a mandatory 1 week hold at a psychiatric ward. This was the hospital's protocol when someone might be a danger to oneself or to others.

Of course, upon regaining consciousness, Aubrey was both appalled and aghast at the thought of being confined in a hospital against her will. She tried to reason with the doctors that she had only taken the medication by accident but the latter would not hear her pleas. They have heard such an excuse countless times and they were only more than willing to follow protocol.
