If someone were to ask the leader of the Legion why he was moonlighting as a night professor in Oxford when there could obviously be better use of his time, then that would be his answer.

It was simply that. A whim.

On that fateful night a month prior, the Legion had returned to their lair utterly defeated. Yet surprisingly, Wentworth did not feel the least bit terrible about it. On the contrary, he felt exhilarated. A fae. The first fae to resurface in nearly 30 years! And a female fae at that.

It was as he thought. The girl WAS the treasure. The banshee was merely a distraction.
