That night understandably, Aubrey was unable to sleep. She could hardly believe that she snapped at Rhyland earlier that day. That was so unlike her. But that man just gets her so riled up even from the beginning.

'Stop it!' Aubrey chided herself. It would do no good to be reminiscing about him. 'If you are thinking about him, you're not getting over him.'

As such, Aubrey spent all her pent up emotions feverishly writing a chapter of her webnovel. She was so engrossed in her writing that she didn't hear a knock on her door.

Afterwards, she chatted with Grandma Bella on the phone for an hour or so.

And it was around 2am by the time she got to bed.

Still she lay awake that night replaying the conversations she had with Rhyland that morning.
