Chapter 9

I checked the time and it was almost eight, and I told her I had to leave. She saw me off and went back to her house. I walked quietly on the street, and the air blowing felt very cold and freezing, but that didn't stop me from walking back home. Within a few minutes, I realized someone was following me from behind, and I wondered who it was. So, I quickened my steps and became cautious.

As I tried to take a step, I saw a figure standing in front of me with his eyes locked onto mine. I moved back, and the figure started walking towards me, breathing heavily, with his skin turning pale. I could hear him breathing fast, but I couldn't see his face since the whole place was dark.
