(ix) - Icha icha

They made it back to the village and the Hokage sent four ninjas on another mission to deliver the rogues to the hidden stone.

She walked to her apartment, putting her face in her hands as she sat down on her bed. The copy ninja started to go in the direction of his house but changed his mind, wanting to check on Hazuna. He knocked on her door. Startled by the noise, she opened her door to see him.

Kakashi : You okay?

He asked, looking at her expressionless face.

Hazuna : Mhmm..

She nodded, trying to convince god knows who. Not buying it, he hugged her anyway. Just in case.

She returned it, and he hugged her tighter.

Hazuna : I have a question.

She said into the hug.

Kakashi : Hm?

Hazuna : What's under that mask, Kakashi?

Kakashi : Welllll..

He said, breaking the hug and pulling down the fabric from his face.

Kakashi : Under the mask is another mask.

He said, closed eye smiling.

[ Short time skip ]

Back in the office of the Hokage, all the jonin leaders had gathered.

Hiruzen Sarutobi : What about you, Kakashi?

Lord Hokage asked him.

Kakashi : Uchiha Sasuke, Uzumaki Naruto, Haruno Sakura.

He paused.

Kakashi : I recommend them to take the chunin exam.

Kurenai, along with Asuma also gave similar recommendations for their respective teams. So did Might Guy.

Hazuna, who was at the meeting, was pretty surprised. 1st year genins hadn't been recommended to take the chunin exam since her time.

The meeting concluded and everyone walked out.

Kakashi : What do you think?

He asked her, putting an elbow on her shoulder as they walked.

Hazuna : I can't believe Sasuke is gonna be a chunin.

She replied.

Kakashi : Well, you know that the exam is not that easy, right?

Hazuna : It wasn't that tough either.

She said, recalling her own exam.

Asuma : It's tough for normal shinobis, who haven't become chunin at the age of FIVE and EIGHT!

He said, joining them.

Hazuna : I will have you know my little brother is no normal shinobi.

She replied, smirking.

Kakashi : Neither is Naruto for that matter.

He added.

Asuma : What about that Sakura girl?

He asked.

Hazuna : She is....eh, she is smart and could probably do much more if it wasn't for her Sasuke obsession.

She said, distastefully.

Asuma : Not a fan, huh?

He chuckled.

Hazuna : It wouldn't be ethical of me to talk ill of my student now, would it?

She said, putting her hands behind her head as she walked.

Kakashi : Let's hope they do well.

He sighed.

Hazuna : Well, I have a mission to get to. So, I will be seeing you all in a month. Hopefully, the chunin exam goes well.

She said, shrugging her shoulders at the both.

Kakashi : Who is in your team?

He asked.

Hazuna : It will just be me and two other jonins. I will be back before the final stage. Look after Sasuke for me.

She replied, beginning to leave when she remembered something.

Hazuna : Before I forget..

She went back to Kakashi, slipping a hand into his jonin vest and taking a copy of 'Icha Icha Paradise' from it before he could protest.

Hazuna : I am taking this.

Kakashi : HEY, NO! Hazuna!

Hazuna : Just to keep me company.

She playfully winked before leaving.

Asuma : What is going on between you all?

He asked, raising an eyebrow.

Kakashi : When I know, I will tell you.

He sighed again at the troublesome Uchiha, who was blissfully unaware of the effect she had on him.

Kakashi : Hazuna..

The deep voice of the copy ninja made the Uchiha turn around.

She couldn't quite point out where they were. It sort of looked like his place. The lighting was dim, but she could vaguely make out the distinct figure of her former teacher.

Kakashi came closer to her, taking off his jonin vest.

Hazuna : Yes, Kakashi sensei?

She purred into his ear.

He pushed her up against a wall and took off his mask, pulling her into a kiss, apparently not caring that she couldn't see his face.

He deepened the kiss, pulling her closer to him as she felt something grind against her.

Oh.

His lips shifted to her neck as her hands tugged slightly on his silver hair.

Hazuna : Ka-ka-shi..

She held in a moan as one of his hands trailed down, reaching in between her legs. His other hand ran up her side, making her shiver as he sucked on her neck-

Hazuna woke up with a start to find herself in the woods, realising it was a dream. She rubbed her eyes, closing the 'Icha Icha' book that she had fallen asleep reading.

Hazuna : What the fuck just happened..?

She muttered, relieved that her teammates weren't awake. Her thoughts ran wild as she recalled the dream.

"What would it be like to actually kiss him? Not to mention he does have really big feet Imao. GET A GRIP HAZUNA, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!", she thought to herself.

She tried to go back to sleep but couldn't.

Hazuna : Might as well keep an eye out.

She thought, sitting on a nearby tree and quietly picking up from where she had left off in the book she was reading.

[ Two months later ]

Hazuna : Wow, this mission went on way longer than it should have.

She remarked.

Hazuna : Thank god, it's finally over.

The jonin with her agreed.

It being an infiltration mission, Hazuna hadn't had any contact with the village or Kakashi. So, she didn't have much idea of what was going on. Around this time, the final stage of the chunin exam must have begun.

Entering the village, they headed straight to the arena where the battles were going to happen.

She ran as fast as she could, and entered the stadium but the sight she saw left her speechless.

There was pin drop silence in the arena. Not a single person was awake. And the ongoing fight between Sasuke and some hidden sand ninja had left the stadium. The Kazekage looked like he had taken the Hokage hostage.

But, wait a minute. She had found out on her mission that the Kazekage post was currently unoccupied because the previous Kazekage had died.

So, who was that in his clothes?

She looked around to see any familiar faces at all. And she did.

"Hazuna!", she breathed a sigh of relief as the familiar voice called out her name. Her heart fluttered a bit which she downright ignored.

Hazuna : Kakashi.

She ran towards him.

Hazuna : What the hell is going on?

Kakashi : My guess is sand ninja have turned against us and everyone is under genjutsu. We need to release it off of as many shinobis as we can.

She nodded, running to Sakura, Ino, Shino, Kiba and then Shikamaru.

But she found out that he had already resisted the genjutsu but had gone to sleep instead?????

Hazuna : SHIKAMARU!

She yelled furiously, making him sit up at once.

Hazuna : WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?!

Shikamaru : What is it? Oh, Hazuna sensei when did you get back-

He asked, rubbing his eyes.

Hazuna : THE VILLAGE IS UNDER ATTACK!

Shikamaru : Aw man..

He groaned, getting up lazily.

Hazuna : Sakura, release the genjutsu on Naruto. And all of you, go help Sasuke fight the sand dude.

Sakura : His name is Gaara.

Hazuna : I couldn't care less. Leave.

She ordered and they nodded, setting out.

Meanwhile, she turned to see Might Guy and Kakashi fight off numerous hidden sand ninja.

Hazuna : Fire style : great dragonflame jutsu!

She yelled, drawing hand signs at an inhuman speed.

This sent a major part of the now arriving sand ninja flying.

Might Guy : Wow, Kakashi your student is STRONG!

He said to the jonin as they continued fighting.

Kakashi : That, she is.

He smirked, glancing her way for a split second before focusing on his fight.

Might Guy : I need to get better at teaching!

He yelled.

Kakashi : I didn't even teach her most of the stuff, calm down!

He replied, kicking another opposing ninja straight across his face.

The sand ninja fighting them were more confused by how the duo was having their own conversation while effortlessly overpowering them.

Hazuna spotted a summoned toad atop which stood Naruto, fighting Gaara, who was by the looks of it, a jinchuriki.

Hazuna : Just how much did I miss while I was gone?

She murmured to herself as she continued fighting, copying attacks like there was no tomorrow.

She joined in on the conversation between Kakashi and Might Guy.

Hazuna : Both of you!

She said breathlessly, using wind style to push away more enemy shinobis.

Hazuna : WHAT DID I MISS?!

Might Guy : Well, Sasuke and Naruto made it to the final stage.

Kakashi : Orochimaru gave Sasuke a curse mark.

Hazuna : HE WHAT?! I am gonna kill that creepy snakey snake asshole.

She said, venting her frustration towards another ninja attacking her.

Kakashi : Oh and as you can see, the sand betrayed us.

Hazuna : About that, guys I don't think that's the Kazekage..

She pointed towards the roof of the Hokage's office where a barrier had now formed.
