"I don't have one" she locked her eyes with mine and for once I regretted putting her in this condition.
"what makes you think you don't have a mother?.... Baby don't you miss your mother sometimes?"
I was pushing my boundaries but I just had to know what she felt about this inwards, for God's sake how can a kid not cry or want her mother sometimes at least once in a while?.
"I do, but I also try not" she answered so innocently
"Why would you say that baby?"
"Because she doesn't want me, if she did she wouldn't have left me" she lowered her head and I hugged her tightly

"Come on girls we don't have much time, our ride will be here any minute" Esmeh repeated


"Get out of your uniforms and wear something more matured how long does that have to take you guys?....Julie hurry your yet to take off your blouse"


"A minute" she quickly took of her blouse.


"Bella pass me my shirt" Julie said as she went to get her back pack.


"do you really have  to do this?" Bella questioned her, she hoped they was something she could say that could change her best friend's mind from sneaking out of school to go see a concert.


"we already talked about this. I'm going for this concert and there's nothing you or anyone can say to me to change my mind"


"Think about your sister..... She's doing everything she can to see you through, she even gave up her dreams to help you chase yours and this how you pay her back?"


"Re phrase that, she gave up her dreams so I could chase her dreams for her, for God's sake I don't want to go to Harvard I love music and I want to become a musician but Jane doesn't want that...She wants me to read hard and so I can work in big companies, those are literally her dreams not mine so for the love of God  stop making me feel like I don't have my own life to live".


"your so ungrateful and pathetic, that girl has given up everything she has for you. Juls and you talk about her like this?.....Goshhhh. If wearing suits and working in big companies is the only way to compensate her for Everything she's done for you then you shouldn't hesitate besides working in big Companies doesn't bite or does it?"


"Enough with this topic, you know sometimes I wonder if your my friend or Jane's friend cause if you were my friend you will support and encourage me...."

With that she walked out on the five of them.

"Imagine she likes your song and even agrees to sign you or better still make you her muse cause gurllll your voice and lyrics are top notch"


"That would be awesome and with every money I make from each concert I perform I'll buy my sister a beautiful dress" her eyes glowed with excitement
