Chapter twenty

After taking an afternoon nap already, Lantian got off the house escorted by her maid, who was carrying a bamboo basket covered by a cloth. In hand, the lady was holding a small wine jar, and she drank some of it while she was strolling down stone stairs before her father's palace.

"Miss, you drink wine," Xiaolan said.

"Any problem?"

"I just care about your health."

"Don't worry." Lantian grinned. "Just a few sips."

The female servant dismissed a low voice of breath, then she lifted the container to her chest, supported it from below, and went after her young mistress to the house of Yang.

Once again, the daughter of the minister took her maid to the behind portal that she had used on the previous day. She did this because she did not want people in the house of Yang to know that she came – she was bored to receive the boring soft welcome from the house owners; furthermore, the back door was closer to the homestead of the second daughter of Yang Fu; she did not need to walk much.

In the field of grass before her own camp, under the giant shade of the high tree, Caihong was already prepared and waited for the Wu's clan woman.

"Did you sleep well last night?" Lantian said with a big smile.

"I never have bad sleep," Caihong said.

"Then, did you dream about me?"

Yang's daughter stared the female speaker, "Non-sense."

Still the lady of high family stored jolly beam over her face while her maid was holding stupid expression.

"It's a bunny," Lantian said and before she went near, she raised the jar to take a sip of wine, then expanded hand to caress the head of the animal that was in embrace of the younger woman.

"Um." Caihong covered the back of hand over her nostrils. "You drink wine," she muttered.

Only a smile was seen on the face of the daughter of the high governor. Next she retreated her body and called her private maid to show her racing animal.

When seeing the creature, the younger colleen was surprised and looked at her animal with a not very happy face. Her mind was thinking it was a kind of injustice because she bore the fast running animal while the daughter of Wu detained the slow animal. But then she re-thought and believed she did not perform cheating, because the elder lady had mentioned that she could bring any kind of the living to take the race.

Before the combat, the two girls agreed to place a cabbage as the finished line.

After the agreement, Caihong put her bunny on the grass and Xiaolan released the baby tortoise next to the rabbit; as for Lantian, she went to relax her body on the stone and enjoyed her liquid.

When the contest started, the female junior was very anxious towards the creature that she picked up to assist to fulfill her wish. It was famous for being speedy, but at the present, it just showed one hop then stayed still in the middle of the way and its pair of eyes were small, like it did not have enough rest for many days. In contrast, the baby tortoise was like a storm wind; it ended the distance of three steps of humans like a flash and when it reached the finish line, it celebrated its victory by munching the cabbage in its tiny mouth.

The action of the baby tortoise made Xiaolan's jaws fall. Now she comprehended why her lady told her to keep it without food for one night.

"I told you I can win over you without my family's fortune," Lantian said.

Only a big breath that the daughter of Yang Fu remained. The gal consented to receive her failure.

"Say what you want me to do."

"Well," Lantian stored shimmering eyeballs and large grin lips, "first wish is you massage me."

The female loser held an unhappy feature going to stand behind the elder lady that was sitting smiling, then expanded both of her hands to knead her shoulders and arms.

During fresh weather, the daughter of Wu latched her peepers, while her right hand was waving the fan slightly to produce wind to cool her face and body. Her lips never forgot to carry a forever smile. It was the merry moment that she ever expected. Though the kneading was like rubbing rock over her flesh, she was very joyful.

About half an hour later, when she felt the fingers of the female junior was losing strength, she called an end, "That's enough."

"What is your second wish?" Caihong said.

Hearing it Lantian giggled, "Why so hurry?" She got up from the stone and said, "I will come tomorrow." Then she spun to meet with the eyes of the pretty illegitimate daughter of the millionaire for a short time before she turned over and called her maid, "Xiaolan, we go home."
