Chapter 1: other world

As I open my eyes I saw an unfamiliar ceiling. I looked around while coughing because of the dusty air and found out that I was laying on a bed made out of hay. I was on a small room that looks like it had been abandoned for a long time.

The walls have some holes on them, the floor is dusty and the ceiling looks like it was about to fall anytime.

"Fuck!!" i cussed out loud as a rat run between my feet.

'where the hell am I?' I thought and look around.

The room was almost empty. The only furniture was the dusty bed that was made of hay, an old looking table with some scrolls on the top that was made out of wood, a chair, an old looking cabinet that missing a lot of pieces, a broom, some framed writings and paintings in the wall, a small mirror that was also on the wall and a wooden bucket.

I approached the mirror and got surprised by the stranger in front of me. I try to touch him just to realize it was my own reflection.

"Is...this really me?" i stare at my reflection having a feeling of unfamiliarity.

I have a black long hair, a dark blue eyes, my skin was kinda pale. I don't have any mole my face. I'm not that tall but wasn't on the short side, my body wasn't bad too. I touch my face with fascination.

"Why do I feel like it's not me?" I ask myself looking at the face in the mirror. Is that really me?

suddenly a strange blue screen popped out right in front of my face.

[welcome my dear host] a woman voice said with a robotic voice. [You are chosen to be the host of this world.I welcome you to your new world.]

"who... who are you?no, what even are you?" I said looking at the strange blue screen.

[I am your guide. You can call me system#17. I'm the one that has been assigned to guide you through your journey in this world.] the woman said.

"where am I? and what do you mean by this world?" I said.

[this world is one of the many other world inside the alternate universe. It means you are no longer on your original world and universe.] it said.

The more the woman voice speak, the more my head hurts.

'other world? alternate universe? what the hell is going on?' i thought to myself as I try to digest everything the woman voice just said.

"Does that mean this not the only world and there's other universe?" i asked.

[Yes.] The robotic voice that was coming from the blue screen.

Suddenly, a thought came through my mind as I try to remember what happen before I wake up. The only thing I remember is that I was running in an endless dark alley and then I saw a door and open it.

"Then, where am I from? who am I? Tell me my own identity." I said in a panic voice.

"You are the host from the other world that has been chosen to be the host of this world.] the woman said.

" I know I'm from other world but what world am I from and what's my name? why can't I remember anything?"

[All the memories of the host that has a connection about the other worlds was locked by the main system. System#17 don't have the authority to have an access to such information.] The robotic voice said.

[But, you can regain it all by collecting memory fragment. You can get memory fragment after exchanging a right amount of exp.]

" What's the main system and why did they take my memories?" I asked.

[Each world's has it's own host and a system guide and all the system guide was connected to the main system. The main system also the who chooses the host for each worlds] system#17 said.

"why did they take my memories?" I repeat my question.

[I'm sorry host but system#17 don't have an access to such information.] system#17 said.

I was about to ask more questions to system#17 when the door suddenly violently open revealing a woman with freckles on her face.

"li weiyu you useless thing when do plan to get up!!!!"
