Challenge

It was evening and the Supreme Five was with Tate in his mansion. They were all seated around a table eating.

"Hey, Frantz. Did you ever meet Dragon?"

Jessie asked while munching on a drumstick.

"I have, a few times. Haven't met him in person for around 5 years though."

"Oh, what kind of guy is he?! Is he strong?!"

"It's hard to describe him. I can say he's the opposite of his son though. As for if he's strong, I believe he's the strongest person I've ever met."

"Really?! I want to fight him!"

"You want to fight everybody."

Astrid scuffed as he ate his plate of shrimp.

"You say that, but I need to fight strong criminals to become the strongest Bounty Hunter in history. What better person to fight than the World's Most Wanted Man?"

Jessie finished his drumstick and started sucking up rice off his plate.

"Jessie just thinks about two things; fighting and eating."

Caria was eating a chicken salad. She used her fork to pick up lettuce as she spoke.

"If you continue picking fights, you're going to end up dead."

"I don't mind. As long as I complete my dream, I don't really care if I die."

Jessie switched from rice to bread.

"If you want to test your strength, why not fight Strawhat Luffy?"

Luka had somehow skipped dinner and was eating cake.

"Oh, yeah. You fought him, didn't you? How strong was he?"

Tate asked while drinking beer.

"I can't say since he didn't go all out, but if I had to guess I would say he's on Jessie's level at least."

"Really?"

Everyone at the table was surprised by Luka's words.

"If it's Luka saying it, then it must be true."

Tate mumbled. Jessie banged his hands on the table and stood up.

"That's it!"

His eyes were sparkling.

"I'm gonna challenge him to a fight right now!"

Meanwhile, Luffy and Hancock returned to the mansion where they were staying.

"What?! You revealed our identities?!"

Elder Nyon shouted after hearing what happened from the two.

"Why did you two do that?!"

"Calm down, Granny. I'm trying my best not to laugh because of your swollen lips flapping about."

"You little! This is serious!"

Elder Nyon grabbed onto Hancock who turned her face away trying to hold back her laughter.

"I don't think it's a big deal since everybody knows our identities already."

"Since when?"

"Since the battle, I guess. They know who we are and are fine with it."

Hancock threw Elder Nyon off her.

She took a seat.

"So there's no reason for you to get worked up. If you understand, go put on a paperbag. I'm trying my best not to laugh already."

"I swear I'm gonna strangle you in your sleep one day."

"Your funeral."

Elder Nyon glared at her while Hancock shushed her dismissively. Soon a knock came from the door. Hancock focused on the entrance to sense who was there. A confused expression appeared on her face.

"Snake Princess…"

The Kuja girls looked at Hancock for answers.

"Go let them in. It's their home anyway."

They nodded and Marguerite went to the entrance. She opened the door and the Supreme Five and the Mayor stood outside.

"We're here to talk to your captain and her boyfriend."

"I heard someone mention boyfriend."

Hancock appeared behind Marguerite.

"I praise the mayor for his insight and wisdom regarding my relationship."

"…Right."

"Come in, come in. You own the place."

Hancock gleefully skipped to the living room.

"Luffy~! We have guests!"

She shouted towards the kitchen.

"I know, I could sense them."

Luffy walked in eating a sandwich.

"What's up?"

Jessie ran up to him and grabbed his shoulders.

"Strawhat Luffy!"

"Yeah?"

"I challenge you to a fight!"

Luffy stopped eating. He looked into Jessie's bright eyes. There was fire burning in them. Seeing this, a grin appeared on Luffy's face.

"Sure."

"Alright!"

Jessie started jumping for joy.

"I get to fight a great pirate!"

"Wait! Wait! Wait!"

Elder Nyon looked at Tate.

"What's going on here?!"

"Well, when Jessie found out who you guys were he immediately wanted to test his strength against Strawhat Luffy. He's the type to not take no for answer so, we're here. Also, I kinda wanted to see it myself."

Tate laughed. Elder Nyon turned to Hancock.

"Snake Princess, please stop this madness."

"Luffy's fighting?"

Hancock pondered for a bit until her eyes turned into hearts.

"I'm sure he's going to look majestic while fighting."

"This woman…"

Elder Nyon mumbled.

"Pirate Empress, Boa Hancock."

"Hm?"

Hancock turned her head. Astrid walked out and glared at her.

"I challenge you to a duel."

"Huh?!"

Caria looked at Astrid with shock. Tate and others were also surprised.

"Astrid, could you stop—"

"Butt out of this, Caria."

Astrid glanced at her with a strong glare.

"I have to do this."

"You!"

"It's okay, Caria."

Hancock spoke up.

"Remember what I said about this situation the other night?"

Hancock smiled at her. Hancock's words from the other night played in her head.

"He'll learn his place soon."

Caria looked at Hancock and stepped back. Hancock's smile faded when she faced Astrid.

"Why do you want to fight me? Is it because you want my title of most beautiful?"

"I don't need to beat you to get that. I'm already the most beautiful being in this world."

His eyes narrowed.

"I want to fight because I want to test my strength against the Warlord Boa Hancock."

"You don't seem like the type obsessed with strength."

"I'm a Siamese Fighting Fishman. We might be beautiful, but we love to fight. It's in our DNA."

He glanced at Jessie.

"Also, my partner's dream is to become the strongest. I intend to help him achieve that dream. In order to do that, I need to become stronger by fighting strong people."

He looked at Hancock and showed off his fangs.

"Who's better to do that than the woman I hate, who happens to be a powerhouse."

Hancock showed a small smirk.

"Alright, I accept."

Her smirk grew into a grin.

"I'll make sure you don't act up in front of me again."

"What an unsightly expression, Pirate Empress."

Elder Nyon looked between them and sighed. She quietly stepped back.

"Hey, since the four of us are going to fight and we all want to test our strengths how about a 2v2 spar."

Jessie spoke up.

"I want to fight Strawhat Luffy but I also want to test my strength against the Pirate Empress if I can. This way we can test our skills and chemistry."

"I'm down. Hancock and I have great chemistry anyway."

"Luffy~!"

Hancock had heart eyes again.

"I have no problem but I'll mainly focus on my target. Don't cry to me if I don't help you."

Astrid added. Jessie nodded.

"Then, how about as a rule the winner is the last one standing."

Tate spoke up.

"This way you'll really get to test your strength. A possible 2v1 situation would really push you too."

"I'm down for that."

Jessie readily agreed. Luffy, Hancock, and Astrid agreed.

"Alright, it's settled."

Tate started grinning.

"Pirate vs. Bounty Hunters will begin."
