Chaos

 The island was plunged into chaos. The people were fighting each other with the intention to kill. Buildings were quickly set ablaze and explosions rang everywhere. Among this chaos, Deputy Sheriff Riley was trying to separate two people fighting. 

"Stop this! You two are brothers!" 

"Let me go!" 

"I'm going to kill that traitor!" 

"Stop, this is..." 

Riley froze momentarily before pointing his revolvers at the brothers' heads. 

"Huh?" 

Without hesitation, he shot them in the head. They hit the ground with bewilderment on their faces. 

"What's wrong, El Nino?" 

Elsewhere on the island, a child was crying while lying under rubble. It abruptly stopped crying and threw the rubble off them. 

"I'm not certain, but I think someone found me." 

"Are you sure?" 

Riley walked through an alley and shot someone who was hiding behind a dumpster. 

"Well, I was attacked." 

The child dusted themself off. 

"I'm not sure if it was a coincidence or-" 

"Gum Gum Grizzly Magnum!" 

Two giant hands slammed on top of the child flattening them. Luffy landed from the air and retracted his hands. 

"Scratch that." 

Another child walked out of a burning house ignoring the burns on its body. 

"I've definitely been found out." 

"How? Are you saying someone can sense us? That's impossible." 

Riley walked through the town evading attacks from the citizens before killing them. 

"I don't know, but I'm going to eliminate them." 

The child showed Luffy a savage grin. 

"200 lives return!" 

Their body was covered by a golden glow. 

"Huh? They feel a lot stronger now." 

"That's because I am." 

El Nino leaped at Luffy. Hancock appeared at their side. 

"Perfume Femur!" 

Hancock kicked them in the head and it cracked apart like stone. Luffy turned his head and entered Gear Second. He flew to his left. 

"Red Hawk!" 

He slammed a burning fist in another child's back. He buried the child with one punch. 

"I'm amazed." 

He looked up to see another child sitting on the edge of a roof. 

"You can sense me so clearly as if you're a part of us." 

El Nino showed a gleeful expression. 

"How are you able to do it?" 

Let's go back a bit. After speaking with the Kuja about what was happening, they decided to split up and look for clues. Hancock and Luffy were naturally together. 

"I still think those who shared a presence are suspicious. Maybe we should look into that by oursel-" 

"Hancock, did you hear that?" 

The two of them stopped in the town. 

"What are you talking about, Luffy?" 

"It's like someone is whispering but I can hear them pretty clearly." 

"....No, I don't hear anything like that. Is it important?" 

"I heard it twice before." 

"When?" 

"While the orphanage was being blown up and at the station when the sheriff died." 

Hancock's eyes narrowed. 

"Can you pinpoint where it's coming from?" 

Luffy shook his head. 

"It's moving from place to place. Sometimes, it disappears completely." 

"It might be the culprit, Luffy. How are you sensing them?" 

"It's not really sensing them...It's more like I'm just hearing them." 

Luffy wore a confused expression. 

"Then you're not using Haki?" 

"Well, I only hear it coming from the guys who share a presence, but I can't tell who with just Haki." 

Hancock's eyes widened. 

"So the answer is them. Should we just take them all out? No, that could lead to fighting the whole island." 

*BAM* 

An explosion erupted near them. The sounds of fighting reached their ears." 

"Did they find the enemy?!" 

Hancock and Luffy moved towards the fighting. When they got there they froze. 

"Die! Die! Die!" 

"Goddamn traitor!" 

"People like you are a danger to this island!" 

The citizens were killing and cursing each other. 

"What is going on?" 

Hancock mumbled as the chaotic scene opened up in front of her. 

"Hancock, I can sense them again!" 

Luffy started running. 

"Luffy!" 

Hancock chased after him. 

"Hancock, I'm certain now!" 

Luffy's face was stained with rage. 

"Whoever I hear these whispers from is the enemy!" 

"Luffy really can sense the enemy." 

Hancock mumbled while looking at the entity that took over different bodies. 

"If that's the case..." 

Caria's face flashed in her mind. 

"I'm going to keep killing it until I'm satisfied!" 

Elsewhere, Caria and the Supreme Five were face to face with their people's madness. Violence engulfed their surroundings and a medley of anguish pounded on their ears. 

"Stop it!" 

Jessie roared and released a burst of Haki. The haki rushed at the mob. 

"That's right, Jessie. Neutralize them to stop this madness." 

Frantz mumbled. His eyes slowly widened with shock. Jessie's Haki was blocked by another wave of Haki that came from the crowd. The Haki clash lasted for an instant before Jessie was overpowered. His haki was devoured and the Supreme Five was hit. 

"What the hell?!" 

Someone flew out of the crowd. They popped up in front of Jessie. Jessie moved to attack but he was punched in the stomach. Jessie's body flew into the station. The attacker moved back to avoid a slash from Caria. Astrid flew at them swinging his fist. The attacker parried his punch with minimal movement and placed their fists on his chest. 

"Six King Gun." 

A shockwave penetrated Astrid's body. His eyes rolled to the back of his head. Yet, he grabbed the attacker. Luka and Frantz flew at them from the sides. The attacker jumped in the air with Astrid still latching on. They forced Astrid's grip off and swung their hand down like a chop. Blood gushed out of Astrid's body as a cut appeared on his chest. 

"Monarch Cut!" 

Caria appeared behind the attacker with butterflies floating around her. 

"?!" 

The butterflies were all cut into pieces and her swords shattered. She looked at the attacker. A finger pierced into her chest. The attacker then kicked her towards the ground. Astrid hit the ground soon after. The attacker remained in the air by kicking. A shadow flew out of the station and went straight at him. Blood sprayed as the attacker was hit by Jessie coated in armament haki. Jessie circled around and went for the attacker again. He trapped the attacker in a storm of attacks with his hyperspeed wings acting as blades. 

"Get him, Jessie!" 

Frantz shouted while aiming a crystal rifle at them. 

(If he breaks free, I'm gonna shoot him!) 

A loud noise erupted and Jessie was seen flying back. He had several fist-prints in his body. Frantz fired at the attacker. They vanished and popped up in front of him. Hot mercury devoured the attacker. Frantz quickly distanced himself. 

"?!" 

His eyes widened as a hand engulfed in mercury grabbed his throat. He was lifted off the ground and slammed into the earth. The bondages under his clothes were instantly stained with blood as his old wounds reopened. 

"Get away from him!" 

Luka flew at the attacker. A hand popped up in front of his face and he stopped in his tracks. The attacker waved something in their hand Frantz wasn't able to see. Luka suddenly lost consciousness and was caught by the attacker. They threw Luka over their shoulder. 

"Wait..." 

Frantz tried to get up but his wounds screamed out in pain. The attacker ignored him and jumped into the crowd. 

"Give him back..." 

He forced himself to get up ignoring the blood draining out of him. 

"Give back my little brother!" 

He roared towards the crowd but received no answer. Luka's presence vanished into thin air. Jessie flew down and started to scan the crowd. He then flew up and started flying around town. 

"No, no, no, no!" 

He stopped midair and retook his human form. His face was pale and he was breathing heavily. He gritted his teeth and clenched his fists. 

"Goddammit!"
