Prologue: The Mission

"No!" Fire rained from the sky as the city has ash raining down upon it. The sound of a steam powered blimp at war with other flying machinery powered by steam. A small figure lying on the ground a sword pressed to her hands which were emitting small amounts of magic which looked like it was protecting her but for how long?

Suddenly Daos shook his head stumbled to his feet his mask shattered & broken, his brown clock shredded, burnt and covered in blood. Shoes? What shoes those were just burnt away how ever his feet seemed fine. Covered in dirt, blood & ash he did not slow nor did he hesitate Daos suddenly moved his speed was not of a normal being. The being who had the sword now stood with a hand in his chest. "Get up..." A Dark sinister voiced crackled from that broken steam powered mask of his.

The little girl stood her outfit bloody, muddy & tattered with ash on it as well. As she listened to the man she quickly jump on his back & pointed in the direction they needed to go. "That way!" she yelled out pointing in the direction that had a wrecked blimp with the sounds of fighting.

Suddenly a foot moved as Daos's eyes lit up bright blue no holding back... Now he had E on his back. He took off full sprint nothing holding him back suddenly in the middle of a field that had fire all around, soldiers on both sides fighting with swords, magic, not all were human either. Daos stumbled a bit suddenly a loud clash was heard against his right shoulder if it wasn't for the girl upon his back Daos would have lost his head.

E lifted her other hand in time to place a small magical shield around a small part of the man to protect his neck catching the blade at his shoulder instead. Suddenly the girls right eye began to glow red while the other remained normal. "Bad!" She yelled out her voice seemed to carry throwing the soldier back. Now was not the time to be happy it was not long before there were 4 more standing around them.

Daos took the little girl off his back placing her down but as soon as her feet touched the ground he placed his foot to her chest pushing her to the mud watching her safely slide away as he just moved his head to the left as a blade cut across his cheek that was just exposed from his mask just a slight paper like cut. Not a word a sudden turn Daos grabbed the blade as his bare hand was placed to the mans chest piece suddenly armor pieces blew out his back. The man slung the soldiers body around about Ninety-Degree's using it like a weapon to smack the second charging soldier causing both the dead soldier and the charging soldier to be thrown to the ground. Daos turned back only to be met with fist one after another to his chest, ribs & face after a few seconds he lifted his hands and began blocking what he could.

No warning a small fierce E reappeared teeth as sharp as razors her tiny fist connecting with the soldiers head causing him to ragdoll across the ground no wait time either E gave chase only to follow up with a kick the soldier pulled himself back together to end up back on his feet sliding as he watched a small leg come toward shim. He grabbed E's ankle slamming her to the ground no scream, no sound came from E.. Though the look she gave the soldier caused him to stumble back letting her go. She stood walking slowly her messy hair covered her face hiding this look from others only the soldier could see.. Suddenly it happened she vanished teeth already sunk into his neck. The Soldier fell as E looked over to Daos she seemed to give a thumbs up and run off as if nothing happened.

Daos watched every thing unfold as the enemy soldier stood next to the man. They both watched but by the end of E's fight Daos already had the other soldier on the ground beneath his right foot. Daos's voice sounded through that broken mask again that Dark Sinister voice crackled from that broken mask of his. "I'm going to let you live now.. I just want you to tell what you saw here.. This city is protect by us." Daos said lifting his foot off the man but not before slamming it back down crushing the weapon below his foot. The soldier scrambled to his feet running.

Daos smirked under that mask. Suddenly he felt the tug of his left pants leg looking down at E. "We need to hurry we are losing our window." She said reminding Daos of their Mission. Daos nodded to her as he grabbed her tucking her between her arm & side. As he ran toward the blimp with her. Suddenly a loud bang rung out an object flew out the fire hitting E right in the head nothing else could be heard in that moment. Daos looked to his right a hair tie falling his eyes lifeless the once bright blue eyes darkened.

Laughter could be heard. "Damn! I am a good shot." A being swinging a dagger with a barrel built on it. Still laughing he walked through the flames slowly as it burnt at his outfit a bit. "She bit me.. Did you know that? I owed her that." A smile stayed upon his face as he waited for Daos to react.

Daos could hear nothing but the words this man spoke as he looked at the hair tie lay on the ground refusing to turn around to see what would only cause him to stop well who knows.. Daos looked to the man. "You.. I.." A shadow fell over his eyes. "You shot her..." He finally spoke suddenly the ground by his feet pulsed as some dirt got kicked up.

Laughter rung out. "So what? In this world that we live in what do you expect?! This is a war! Freaks and Horrors like her don't deserve to live that is why I fight! When I win this war I do to every single Horror as I done to her." Suddenly the sound of a reloaded shot could be heard. "Slow or quick?" He said a smile on his face.

Daos listened finally the Emotion broke.. "Slow.." His Sinister voice coming from the mask the dirt around his feet pushed outward as he spoke his words softly, suddenly his eyes had life again. Bright Blue and glowing brighter than they were earlier. He was already standing in front of the man the shot rung out only to be met with hardened skin. Daos was not holding back now his power as maximum. Suddenly a fist slammed into the mans jaw.

The mans head turned a loud crack echoed but you heard his laughter. "They told me about you... The stories seem to be just that.. Stories boy." A smirk could be seen as he stood straight up looking Daos in the eyes. "Captain Hel, lets do this." Suddenly it was on. Fist after fist began to be exchanged between the two. Daos & Hel, evenly matched as their speed and strength seem to even match each others. Each one striking, blocking, being thrown, ragdoll but they just kept getting up.

Kril was covered in blood only in pants that seemed to be the only thing left on him. Some parts of his skin had black smudge, cuts, blood, dirt covering his body. He watched Daos fight the unknown male but his eyes fell upon the small figure he rushed over only to get to his knees looking her over. "Shh." She said softly. Her tiny hand pointing to a small home that seemed to be destroyed from the wreckage. Kril confused picked her up rushing her to the house hiding her the view of the other two.

E quickly shot up as she rubbed her head furiously. "Ow, ow, ow.. My magic just barely stopped that bullet." She said crawling over to a smaller hole watching the fight. Kril looked at her confused as he looked out the window. "What is going on?" He asked. E kept watching the fight as she explained. "He needed a power boost.. He fears his full power with me around cause when he uses it.. He loses it.. Mentally he becomes that of a killing machine and to kill Captain Hel Commander Grel and I came up with this idea how ever it was suppose to be different. I was not expecting the man to shoot me, I just barely heard a click & mechanism moving." E explained this rather quickly as she watched the fight.

Kril blinked as he sighed. "You and the Commander always doing research and recon why do we always get filled in last?" Kril asked as he turned his back to her. "Because.. I am the brains you two just do my bidding and keep me alive and if any one hurts me you two kill them." Kril shook his head. "Remember, I was tasked to kill you at one point." He said walking out of the building. E rolled her eyes and spoke to herself. "Still alive.. Loser."

Daos suddenly flew back hands grabbing him and standing him back up. Kril smiled ripping the brown cloak off Daos's body cause the damage to the thing was just getting in his way at this point. "Together." Kril said facing Hel taking a fighting stance, Daos looked to Hel taking the same exact stance as Kril just mirrored.

"Oh look.. This has become almost fair." Hel said charging them both. Kril and Daos both moved getting to Hel's side their fists meeting with his chest sending Hel backwards. The two suddenly appeared behind him as the man flew back but to their surprise they were met with Hel facing them his hands on both of their chest. "You lose.." These words came out so softly but both of them wide eyed and stunned suddenly they flew back crashing inside the wreckage. "Pathetic.." He said turning around to be met with another.. A woman standing right there hand held out a smile on her face, she looked like hell, worse than the others.

Kril and Daos stumbled out of the wreckage falling as they watched. "No!" Both yelled even a small figure came running from the building towards the woman. "End this, no matter what, don't let them win." Suddenly her hand began to glow Captain Hel frozen, fear surrounding him. E still running while Kril and Daos watched stunned. Suddenly E was met with the woman in front of her a position of being held a Magical Decoy but different. A bright glow surrounded the woman and Captain Hel sending both of them inside the wrecked ship. Kril and Daos running forward suddenly fire spread every where, smoke and the sound of a loud bang rung out.

"Be there for them, I no longer can.. Hel might not be dead so remember our Mission. Lead them to victory and keep them Sane. Remember. Broken, but good." The glowing magical Decoy held her hand over E's cheek as it suddenly vanished. E listened carefully, as the decoy slowly vanished E sniffled softly. Suddenly she stood walking over to Daos and Kril sitting between the two who lay unconscious.
