Song Jinze arrived home to find that Ye Zhenzhen and Xiao Chen hadn't returned yet.
Aunt Li approached and asked, "Sir, have you returned? Have you had dinner yet?"
"Uh, not yet." After changing his shoes, Song Jinze walked into the living room and noticed that no one was at home.
"What would you like to eat, sir? I'll have someone prepare it."
Song Jinze, preparing to go upstairs to change his clothes, said, "No need."
Ye Zhenzhen had just mentioned that she would bring him food to eat, so he wanted to wait for Ye Zhenzhen to come back.
Aunt Li paused, then nodded, "Alright, good."
Although Aunt Li agreed verbally, she thought to herself that she still needed to tell Madame when she returned; it wouldn't do for the master to keep skipping dinner like this.
Song Jinze hadn't come down from upstairs when Ye Zhenzhen returned with the two children.
