Ch 19: Dungeon Dive (Second Floor) part 1
The second floor of the dungeon was a Forest Area. There was even a Sky and a sun. But everything was red. It felt like the whole world was dyed in crimson. The grass, trees, leaves, even the sky and the sun have the scarlet colour.
After entering the second floor Elena immediately used {Total Clairvoyance} to check the situation of this floor. She didn't check the other floors even tho she can do that as she want to experience it firsthand. But the safety of the expedition party members was her main concern so she didn't forgot to check the whole floor after experiencing a bit of the floor's atmosphere.
She then said to the parties-
"I'm making some modifications on our plan. Our previous plan was very effective for the first floor but all the monsters in second floor are either B or A rank so, quite a lot stronger than before. So what I want you all to do is, to combine two teams together. That means from now on you all be divided into 3 parties instead of 7 and 2 parties will fight and 1 will be there as backup. A rank parties can stay the same as before."
After listening to Elena's suggession, the whole group went towards the forest. But after not even 10 minutes of walking they were attacked by a group of Blofangases (Blood Wolves). There was 15 B rank Bleefangases and 1 A rank leader monster (lv. 270).
The next battle was quite tough. Azure Legion was incharge of holding the leader back and Five Armaments participated in clearing the B rank red coloured Wolves first and then they joined the fight against the leader and was able to kill it. Marina was the one who dealt the final blow.
But that was only the beginning. After that, groups after groups of monsters started attacking them non-stop. All the adventurers were reaching their limit fast.
After defeating the 4th wave of monsters and this time killing 2 A rank monsters, a 10 meter sized frog of level 269 and a 2 meter long level 270 crow were too much for them. After somehow killing it they were in no condition to fight once more. But they can already see another large horde of monsters coming their way.
When all the adventurer were almost feeling total despair... [Fallen Sun]... a spell from Elena rang out and all 25 B rank and 2 A rank Bicorn type monsters were burned instantly. They all died without any resistance. This spell was like judgement from the heavens and all the foul monsters were burning in hell. Elena also looked like a Supreme Goddess of Nine Heavens.
She said- "Get some rest now guys and Alessia meditate on the sword move you just used. Rishia should also meditate on the magic I taught you. Your execution was very sloppy. Same goes for Shia.
But I have to say I'm very proud of you, Marina. After entering the dungeon you've improved the most. I think your talent with spear is equivalent to Alessia. I'm sure you'll reach A rank after this mission. Keep it up."
Hearing Elena's praise even the rough Marina can't help but blush. Others also started meditating on what Elena mentioned. In the meantime Elena started giving pointers to the B rank parties. When she was doing all that, they were attacked twice more but Elena took care of them.
After that break they finally reached the entrance of the forest. They had 3 more battle after the end of the break. So they were quite tired even tho the last break was not too long ago. There Elena said-
"It's been about 16-18 hours since we entered the dungeon. Fighting for so long without much rest and always staying alert of dangers must have been tough on you all's mind. For now, let's camp here for today. You all can get a good sleep now. Don't worry about keeping watch. I will be doing that. So, just go and have a good sleep. Don't worry, I will definitely protect you all."
They all, including Five Armaments have absolute trust on Elena now. So they heaved a sigh of relief and started the preparation for camping.
But as they were almost done making the camp, an extra large about 35 meter bull type monster came out of the forest. It was so sudden that everyone except Elena froze. Alessia said in a trembling voice-
"ss-S rank."
Yes, it was a S rank monster. The highest level monster Elena had seen so far at level 333. As, all the adventurer were frozen in terror Elena spoke up-
"Don't worry everyone. All of you who use sword should watch carefully."
Everyone came out of their stunned state hearing her voice. Elena was already infront of the monster holding a longsword. She wasn't using her usual greatsword as most of the sword wielding adventurer don't use greatsword.

Each and every one of the adventurer were in a trance watching Elena fight. She had restricted her level to only level 300 and was using beginner level sword skill to fight a monster 33 levels higher. In lower levels a level difference of 33 is a lot. But still Elena was completely dominating the fight. But the reason of domination was not Elena's strength, not her speed or vitality but her incredible skills.
Insanely strong lookings punches of the monster were all parried using the monster's own momentum. The surprise kicks of the bull monster using it's scary hoof were dodged with minimal movement. Every slash, thrust or swing by Elena dealt damage to the monster and perfectly hit the weak points. Each and every one of her moves was related to another move making the whole sequence of dodging and attacking to be in symphony, creating a beautiful dance.
Everyone was awestruck by her techniques. They were slack-jawed. After about 20 minutes "Tarourosus" the S rank monster fell for forever. Elena returned the sword to her inventory and went back to the dumbfounded adventurer and asked-
"So did any of you managed to learn anything?"
Only Alessia and two other B rank adventurers thought hard and nodded their head, indicating that they were indeed able to learn something. Elena was happy and replied-
"That means all three of you have exceptional talent for sword. I will give you all some extra training."
Elena's sword dance was not only for defeating the opponent but it can also give special enlightenment to someone with the capability to reach expert mastery in sword. Marina suddenly asked Elena-
"Elena Onee-sama can you please use spear for the next monster. I have a feeling that if I see your spear handling I will definitely improve."
Elena smiled and accepted her request. Then said-
"Now all of you should go and rest. We will have a long day tomorrow."
And that is how the first day of the expedition was over.
