CHAPTER 45

Maeve had heard a lot of stories that girls in the streets were missing but she never bothered because as long as she was safe why bother.

Her dad never told her what he did for a leaving because if she asked she was answer to use what she had and not be ungainful.

Her mom was always out of the picture and was abused at some point but she thought that it was normal and never bothered.

Her brother would bring girls at home, do drugs and other disturbing thing but she was always told to stick to her room.

One night, her dispenser water wasn't working so she went to the main kitchen to get a bottle of water when she saw something that she could never forget in her life.

Collins came home late that day and was accompanied by a lady as usual and all of a sudden he went mad and slapped her, he was soo high on drugs that he didn't recognise himself. The lady tried to scream but her throat was slit open making her body fall were she was hiding.

Her head faced Maeve and blinked before she died. No one ever found out about the girl, not even her dad. Since then she looked at him differently. If he did that to stranger, what about his sister.

Agatha looked at the pale girl in front of her and signed. There was no time left for her to still be around, she knew if Collins or henry found her here she would be dead meat for sure.

"Is the plan still working or you will say here waiting for your daddy." Maeve snapped out and looked at Agatha nodding her head.

"I heard the men saying that a truck would be here at mid night coming to carry somethings here and so will we." Maeve shook her head.

"My dad would never sell me; I'm his daughter for crying out loud." Tears rolled as she laid her head back on the wall.

"Oh dear sorry to break it down for you but your dad left long a go to save himself, the police found out about him but never caught him… so is Collins."

"What about my twin brother?" she didn't want to believe that they would abandon her here and save themselves.

"Him…" Agatha looked at her hand. They were talking about a man she liked, till she found out about the families secret. "I don't know… I've never seen him since," she was clearly disappointed.

"I guess you are on your own." Not long after they heard movement outside their door.

'Sir said that both girls should join the others,' this statement made the two girls tremble in fear.

"What do we do?" Maeve asked helplessly. She never thought she would be in such situation.

"What do you think, do you know how to fight."

"How do I know that, I never thought I'd find myself in such a situation?" Maeve cried.

"Aish! Stop with the tears and snots you look pathetic, how will you survive in this would." Agatha was annoyed with how Maeve cried like some child.

The door opened and several men rushed in not giving the girls time to resist, syringes were injected on any part that was exposed and the two girls went limp....

In other town a small bar a car stopped and several men went down carrying girls and among them was Sage.
