Chapter 32

Andreas's POV

I found myself caught up in Isabella's infectious excitement, even though I wasn't sure what had sparked it. Her carefree nature was something I really admired. The fact that she showed no fear of me was something I treasured, and I hoped to maintain that openness, even though I knew I couldn't hide my true identity from her forever. As they say, the truth always comes out in the end.

When Isabella mentioned her hunger, I handed over all the money I had so she could buy herself something to eat. Surprisingly, she didn't question the source of the money. Instead, she headed to a street food stall for some grilled pork.

After making her purchase, Isabella insisted on sharing the food with me, but I declined. I had always avoided eating in her presence, yet she hadn't seemed to notice. Since she hadn't, I decided to grant her request and share the meal with her this time.
