Daily Life - 10

As I woke up i could a small hangover from all the alcohol I drank yesterday, if I remember correctly I drank so many bottles of puffer whale sake that it would be easier to say how many gallons I drank, and in my drunken stage I drank about half of all the alcohol I had around including my precious rainbow fruit wine

Do you have any idea how hard those things are to get I have been hoarding them for years now and I only have around 50 or so, each of them costs 7 million yen each and sure the price isn't a problem, at lest for me but the rarity of it is high and only a hundred or so are sold every year

Not only that but there are millions of other collectors and bartenders who also want to buy them so you have to have some a serious good information collection network if you want to buy one, and I just drank 20 of them while already being drunk as hell

After a healthy amount of self loathing and telling myself repeatedly to not drink so much fucking alcohol I finally got off my bed stretched a bit and as I looked through the window I saw Fang still sleeping in the backward, he used to stay inside my base a lot as an kid but after he got a bit older he refuses to come inside which is good for me because as of right now he's bigger then an elephant

After checking on Fang I just did my daily routine and went down stairs to cook some breakfast, as I began to cook breakfast Fang woke up and silently waited for his food to be prepared, although Derous are omnivores they mostly eat meat

So Fangs breakfast mainly consists of meat with a few vegetables on the side I also added a puffer whale I had left over as an extra treat for him after that I took out a bottle of air aqua and began to eat breakfast with Fang

Finishing up breakfast I went outside to the backyards garden area and sat down on an a chair drinking some more air aqua while just observing Fang as he played around the backyard, he may become the dragon king someday but riht now he's just a 5 year old no matter how mature he's for his age he's still a child

So I just sat there for like 40 minutes peacefully drinking water and watching my pet while sometimes getting a snake from the garden, until my peace and quite was broken by the sound of my phone ringing as I took it out and looked at the name I saw that it was my agent or assistant in a sense

Seeing as he called me it must mean some rich guy or organization has hired me to hunt a high level beast and as I answered the call my theory was proven correct as some guy had asked me to go hunt a metal tooth tiger for 5 billion yen

A metal tooth tiger is basically what you get when you turn a saber tooth tigers entire body into a metal, make it like 10 times bigger, as well as 10 times as aggressive then give it 10 pounds of crack and that's not all because there are variations of them

The copper body ones are the lest dangerous but still have a capture level of 40 and the titanium ones can go all the way to 85, a single attack from their claws can slice someone in half and their bite strength is in the hundreds of thousands

Even for me a titanium one could be a problem if I'm not careful with it, of course even if it could cause me some problems I would still be able to take even a titanium one down in a couple minutes, so after telling my agent I would accept the request

He told me the general location of the tiger and where to drop it off after I was done, I called Fang over and after jumping on top of him I told him where to go, well I didn't really tell him where to go I just communicated the general location to him

So after a bit of flying I was around the general are of the tiger, the location was a pretty flat grassland with a couple tree around and a thick forest a bit farther away, but as I looked around I could clearly see the 12 meter tall pile of titanium

It seemed to be sleeping at the moment which gave me the perfect opportunity to strike, I told Fang to fly back a bit and not to interfere with the fight before I turned on void walk and began to move closer to the sleeping tiger

When I got close to this belly area of it i attacked it with two skillets simultaneously, making sure to attack in a way my hand wouldn't get hurt by its porcupine like metal fur, it caused a massive shockwave while also flinging the tiger several meters back

The beast quickly reacted as it stabilized its body while still being in the air and after landing lunching it self towards me with pure anger in its eyes, as it lunged it self towards me I quickly used another skillet to hit it straight in the face

But surpassingly it stood its ground this time and quickly launched another attack towards me, this time trying to bite off my upper body and seeing as it was so close I definitely couldn't counter it with another attack

So I instead used my leg to stomp its jaw to the ground and used my arms to lift the upper part of its mouth stopping it from moving its mouth, but the tiger got even angrier and began to swing its head around while biting down even harder then before

But I clung on for a bit longer and soon enough the tiger began to slow down a bit, seeing the opportunity I push back against its bite with all my strength and broken it jaw, i quickly got out of its mouth before jumping on top of its head and punching it into the ground

Even though it had taken a lot of damage it was still alive to I jumped of its head and grabbed it by its two massive teeth before lifting it up and continuously slamming it around before eventually using another skill it to completely shatter its skull and flatten its Brian killing it instantly

After the fist was over I looked at my hands and saw a couple of scratches on it, my body was completely uninjured when I was resisting agent its bite but the bigger teeth were much sharper and managed to actually hurt me even though I was just tightly holding them

But I can handle this later as first I need to get this job done so I called fang over to carry the body as we made our way to the drop point, soon I arrived at an almost pure white laboratory and was told to put the body on a giant elevator like platform

After doing so I was greeted by my agent Ryou and as I jumped off Fang to talk to him he asked me a question, "so boss are you planning on taking another break now that you finished this mission" the comment was a jab at my habit of doing one job then not accepting any others for months at a time

but if you could make over a billion yen in less then 2 hours would you really work more then once a month besides the only reason I even do any work these days is so I don't become lazy and content with my life and forget all about the giant world ending events that are gone happen soon

"Yup I'm pretty much done for this month" i said as jumped back on Fang readying to leave but before I could Ryou told me something "sir on a more serious note just as you asked I have been researching the century soup and their are rumors that it's about to reappear on the ice continent"

"Good work call me if you find on any further rumors or news on the matter" with that I left to go on another hunt his time for something I can actually eat
