Chapter 17: No Rogue

Leaning into the post support of the overhang, Gregory gazed down upon the woman. A lantern hung on the other side of the post, illuminating Gregory’s ruggedly good looks.

His shoulder length blonde hair was tucked behind his ears, and his pronounced nose cast a shadow across his right cheek.

He wore the dark outfit Story had given him in the cave. It fit him perfectly and he knew he looked handsome in it.

Solomon’s bright gold belt buckle drew attention, and Gregory liked that. He could feel its power flowing through him. He liked that too.

The woman sitting at the table was enchanted with him. He had seen her when he had walked into town and knew he just had to have her.

There were multiple men sitting at the table with her, but he didn’t care. They addressed Gregory, but he ignored them.

The woman had thick lustrous dark hair. Her eyes were blue and she had delicate facial features. Her face was beautiful. Gregory considered what he could do with it.
