The Little Rascal

The old lady lived in the welfare district of her son's workplace.

The welfare district of the research institute was quite large, but most of the buildings were built in the last century. They were not tall, and tall paulownia trees were planted between them, creating a sense of old-fashioned tranquility and leisure.

Wenjay parked his Geely Panda at the entrance and walked into the neighborhood. As he was looking for the old lady's building, he suddenly heard someone shout, "Hey, whose kid is that? He's about to fall!"

Wenjay looked up and was startled. On the fourth floor of the building next to him, a child was hanging out of a window!

These old buildings didn't have smart anti-theft systems, so many people had welded anti-theft bars outside their windows, like a lid on the window. There was a certain distance between the anti-theft bars and the windows, and some people even placed potted plants inside.
