I
Allen Sigma.
A teenager, heck, in my mid-teens.
Never seen the world properly.
But experienced a bit of the harsh reality of the world.
'Collect!'
Was now on a planet named Super Earth.
A planet whose name was the only thing that seemed similar to the planet I was from.
'Collect!'
A planet that was totally different but still had its similarities to Earth, like the language people spoke here, the way they dressed, and even the building structure, were a bit similar, but though similar, they felt different at the same time; they felt similar yet distant at the same time.
'Collect!'
Not even crossed my mid-teens.
I never learned how to engage in physical combat with others.
But were battles limited to just physical confrontations?
NO.
Every day, I had to combat my own selfish desires by resisting the temptation to give in and continuing to work hard.
Living in a village with limited exposure to bustling city life meant that my struggles were different from those of others. The emotional damage caused by my parents' abandonment was a battle in itself, but I found solace and support in my grandmother, whom I loved dearly.
As my grandmother's final days approached, I had to confront the inevitable reality that she would soon no longer be with me. During those moments, fighting back tears became a challenging struggle.
The days leading up to her passing and the aftermath were filled with battles; each day presented new challenges, like trying to accomplish simple tasks while coping with grief.
Heck, every day was a battle to get that last piece of shit out of my ass.
I also had to wage a battle against my own laziness and push myself to be productive.
In summary, every aspect of life seemed like a battle, and simply breathing felt like an ongoing struggle.
'Collect.'
And giving up on the courage to fight these battles was in itself a battle.
But did I give up?
NO.
Despite facing countless challenges, I refused to give up.
I knew if I didn't give up and persevered, I would get through the obstacles.
'Collect.'
All the individuals wearing jet packs and the individuals on the magnetic skates and magnetic skateboards encircled me from a roughly 6-meter distance.
The heat emitting from the gloves they wore made me squint my eyes, and beads of sweat formed on my forehead.
But not all of them appeared to charge their gloves and point them towards me; some just waited and were possibly ready for any drop of building or any massive object on them.
Especially the voluptuous lady and the men behind her and the people who were on magnetic bikes, the individuals on the magnetic bikes looked ready as if any mishap were to happen, they would provide them with support and rescue their fellow.
'Good thinking.' I applauded their way of thinking and came up with a way to counter the drop of anything on them.
They really were experienced enough to counter what they just witnessed, and I was certain most of this planning was from the voluptuous lady, who certainly seemed to be their leader at the moment.
'Good planning, or perfect, if I may,' I applauded.
As I continued to observe them, I remained unaware of the trembling in my legs and hands coming to a halt. However, the heat from the gloves caused a slight tremor to return to my body.
'Really good planning!' I was focused and did not feel or notice my body's reaction.
Drip. Drip.
Beads of sweat dripped from my face, and from the corner of my mouth, beads of saliva dripped too.
What kept me so focused? Was it how to repel the incoming enemy attack, or was it what I should collect and drop?
No.
Nothing of that
I had made up my mind as to what I would collect and drop on them the moment I decided that I would fight them.
My whole focus was on the road below me.
Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip. Drip.
The road that was below my feet
The road that was covered by half of the sphere that originated with me as the centre
'Collect!'
'Collect!'
'Collect!'
I collected everything below the road, which appeared to be a hard-set mixture of stones, soil, and the materials used to build the road.
I collected them in the shape of cuboids, with a length of 5 meters, a breadth of 1 meter, and a height of 1 meter. It was more than enough to squish more than twenty normal humans at a time.
'Collect!'
'Collect!'
'Collect!'
I shouted in my mind like crazy and collected the precise cuboids.
I locked my eyes with the voluptuous lady as if this was the cue to start the battle.
ZAP!
With a high-pitched sound of energy being unleashed from the metal, the gloves discharged the amassed power. The individuals, having charged the gloves with pulsating energy that radiated a dark grey hue, unleashed a deadly barrage of attacks from both the ground and the air, aimed directly at me.
However, at that precise movement...
Drop!
Drop!
Drop!
Without even a moment's pause, the energy beams streaked through the air one by one, but in response to this, I released massive stone cuboids, each measuring 5 meters in length and 1 meter in width and height, that descended in their path.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The formidable stones crumpled upon impact. For every attack, more than three stone cuboids were employed, leaving only clouds of dust in their wake.
Again.
Drop! Drop!
Drop! Drop!
Drop! Drop!
From above, large cuboid-shaped dark stones began descending one by one, threatening the attackers below.
"Hah! I knew you would do that!" the voluptuous lady yelled, showing no surprise at the sudden cascade of stones. Swiftly prepared, she commanded, "Team Charlie, take down the falling stones; Team Beta, provide support; and Team Delta, proceed with the plan."
Her experience and foresight were evident in her quick and decisive orders.
Responding to her command, Team Charlie, riding magnetic bikes with a sporty appearance, tapped some buttons on their bike screens. The front of their bikes opened, revealing a long muzzle-like rod.
zIIP! zIIP! zIIP!
It launched small energy beam bullets towards the falling stones, causing them to crumble before reaching their intended targets.
"Team Delta, launch your reloads; Team Beta, support them too, and keep an eye out for any surprises. At the moment, he had only shown us that he could teleport one thing at a ti-"
However, before she could finish her sentence, heavy stones began falling like rain, crushing the members of Team Delta beneath them.
Plop! Plop! Plop! Plop! Plop! ...!
The sight left the voluptuous lady stunned, her mouth agape, and her eyes wide with disbelief.
