Chapter Seven

Guren called to see the Major about what happened when he walked in. Kai was in chains and had a cursed sword at his neck. Guren looks to see it. "Major, what is this about," he asks. "Is it true this vampire killed a virgin in the church just to save his monster of a child?" he said. Kai tried fo fight back. He got cut, swallowed, and sat back down. Guren sighs. "Yes, she was sick. It was the child of his enemy also; he stopped the war with one kill," he said. "Also, he has not hurt anyone in three years, and his child hasn't hurt anyone," he said, walking over to Kai. "Thanks to him, we are all alive, and thanks to his daughter, we are safe," he said. "Also, because you are sitting on your asses, nothing was done; thanks to Kai and him fighting against his kind, he has been a great help to us and the fight against vampires. Yes, we won against his sister today, but there are more out there, and if we want to live the good life that you love so much, major, then I suggest we not kill him," he said. "keep him a short leash" the major said and let him go. Kai walks out with Guren. Guren looks at him. "You okay," he asks. Kai pushes his hand away. "I am fine," he said. Guren sighs. "I know your mad about what I said. I love you, Kai. If it came down to it, I would have put my life for yours, Kai," he said. Kai hugs him and kisses him, tears falling from his face. Guren kisses back. "How is our daughter," Guren asks. Kai smiles, hearing him. "She is better, and Shiho is with her," he said. Guren nods. "Okay, good," he said. Kai sighs and looks up at the sky. Guren looks at him. "You okay," he asks. Kai nods. "Yeah," he says and smiles. "Just if there is no leader, there will be a huge battle, and if that happens, another war will start," he said. Guren looks. "If you take the lead, what will happen," he asks. "I would have to meet with the other leaders and talk about that," he said and sighed. "Also, if other leaders disagree with my stance, I can be challenged. Vampire rule is such a pain," he said. Guren looks. "What about us," he asks. Kai smiles. "If I become king, then no one will mess with you or Shiho," he says. "Also, our daughter will be a proper princess," he said. "I will go and talk to the others. I should be back," he said and left. Sekai walks over. "Guren, where is Father," she asked. Guren sighed and told her. She swallowed. Kai was talking, and the other leaders agreed. "so happy to have you back, Sir Kai," one said. Kai smiles. "Also, I am, I guess, married to a human. His name is Guren," he said. They nod. "Is the princess okay?" one asks. Kai smiles. "She is amazing. She became so strong, has cursed gear, and has a man named Shiho," he said. They nod. "You have our word. We will not harm them," they said. He nodded, and Kai left, landing in front of Guren. "everything is going okay." he asked. Kai nods. "Yeah, they see you as a king too, and they see Shiho as a Prince. They were happy to see me in power again," he said.
